I was able to get 211 FSB with fairly low volts on my CPU. Does anyone else notice a huge difference in temps (10C) with hyper threading off. I couldn't get my system stable but here is a CPU-Z shot http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=851402 . My Temps were around 70-75 with a TRUE with two fans. The CPU Voltage was set to 1.2875 in the BIOS with load line enabled. How much QPI is safe to put to the chip, I think I was using 1.28 for this run. I am also trying to keep the Uncore/QPI rate as close to 8:9 as possible. Is there certain QPI/Uncore + FSB combos that work the best when you get above 4GHZ?
BIOS out:

GA-EX58-UD5 - F9k any better ?
Hi stasio Im putting the download link here for F9K

F9K is wonderfull :D
Lynx stable 20 passes @ 4410 Mhz
CPU Vcore: 1.412v bios - 1.36v load
QPI/VTT: 1.355v
DRAM: 1.66v
QPI PLL: 1.3v

Max SPI 1m @ 4725Mhz / 1.39v / 21x225

hard mod?
Bone stock. If i try 227 FSB it freezes immediately. Only 1.35v QPI/VTT.
seriously no hardmod?
newest verion for the Extreme is F9n ;)

Very impressed with this BIOS, while my clock isn't hugely impressive my CPU is sucky and previously needed 1.525v to hit 4.2GHz along with a hell of alot more QPI/VTT to drive 12gb RAM...
Now at 21*200=4200MHz 1.45v vCore 1.335v QPI/VTT 1.66v vDimm 1.3v IOH, all other voltages stock.

its the best bios i have come across in F9 series , linx stable .........
For got to take a screen shot :)
Just upgraded to F9K and so far really impressed.
Here is what I was able to pull (so far):

I can get into Windows at 211 FSB without much problem but it doesn't seem to want to stay stable. How high should I go with the CPU Vcore and QPI? Should you leave load line enabled or disabled? How about the QPI PLL? When under load CPU-Z reports 1.232 volts, but at idle 1.264.
I have a hard time understanding how the Voltages work in the BIOS since they always seem to be way off in Windows.
could you send me your boot settings?
How can I do this?
guys, does in system properties show the current speed of cpu? it just show i7 2.67 @ 2.67 GHz no matter what OC used. CPU-Z reports speed fine.
emertX, here is a pic of the hardmod.

Found it in google images, I've had a look at these resistors on my UD5's, and the size you see in that pic is the actual size of them..
I personally wouldn't want to take a soldering iron to my boards for the sake of higher Bclk and PCIE frequency..
I have managed to push my board past 222 Bclk as well, I managed to get it up to 225 before, the way I had to do it was first set it to 222 in the BIOS, which boots fine, then once in Windows, I used SetFSB to take it past 222MHz.
If I tried going higher than 225 my system would freeze immediately.
Thanks a lot!
Same as mine!
It is due to the pcie clock!
Solder it and you can go higher! 106 is enough to reach 230!!!
Yeah mate, the mod allows you to increase PCIE clock higher than 103MHz, which in turn allows you to go beyond the 222 Bclk wall this board has.
but it might be very dangerous if your not fit in soldering, right?
