Macci with a Zalman = highest air overclocks ever seen...for sure.

Wow....it was 990MHz on the mem--someone made a boo-boo in the multiplication (all early reports were at 1880MHz rather than the proper 1980MHz!).
Macci....when are we gonna see some 01 action on a better FX?

Welcome back Macci.
Shiat nice piccies, tight fit eh :D
Btw. Check PM ;)
Don't worry the overclocking community has W1zzard. He will figure it out.
Paper launch? Come on guys...Quote:
I just dont understand the situation of things at ATi HQ. Why have we heard such contradictory things lately? Where are the XLs they should be available now yet they arent till *maybe* next week? In addition *nothing* has been said about the X1300s
What happened to it being "volume" shipping? What in the world is going on?
is there any info about holes for water cooling
The card has the same mounting pattern as the NV 6800/7800 series. A standard GPU block should fit. I am in the process of testing this. I want to OC on stock HSF first to see how much of an advantage water gives this card.Quote:

is maybe same as x800? or only 6800/7800
Asking Grayskull about decisions made by the ATI management team over release dates, marketing efforts or card distribution is pointless. If he was the president of ATI he wouldn't be hanging around at xtremesystems.
Why not ask him technical questions about the cards? He's a technical resource. I'm sure he can tell us all about the ins and outs.
Not x800 which was spaced different and had only two holes. The x1800 has four holes and they are spaced the same as the 6800/7800. I attached a picture.Quote:

BIOS modding :)
looks like a total of 8 holes, hopefully that will allow better gpu mounting for LN2 and Dry ice tubes.Quote:

Some aircooled results from yesterday evening. Normal room temp and wasn't pushing it too hard yet (no artifacts etc).
GPU 0.15V over default, MEM at default volts.

Those are big air numbers, 11k in 05 on air? That's pretty damn good for one card.
