Looks like I am getting ioErrors when I tried to attach any files to the post.:(
Oh well, I tried to upgrade BIOS using EZ Flash inside the BIOS but my machine is dead now. I renamed the ROM to SABERX79.ROM per the manual's instruction and press the BIOS button next to the USB for 3sec but nothing happens. I think I am sending my machine to the local distributor....:(
I assume they will upgrade the BIOS for me while fixing it, right???
x79 sabertooth manual section 3.10.4 mentioned a BIOS updater I can download from asus.com to upgrade BIOS. I couldn't find it at asus site. Can Raja help?? Thanks!
oh never mind. I finally figured out how to flash bios using the bios flash button.:D
Select XMP, then find these secondary/third timings and set them as shown in this post. Also, keep VCCSA at 1.15V to start with.

AI Probe is saying my VCCSA is at 1.22 in Windows but I know I set it to 1.15 in Bios. What is going on??
Hi everone I am have a problem with the my overclocking. I am running the cpu at 4700mhz and can game for hours, but when there is alot of cpu, ram and hardisk activete the it becomes unstablie and crashes too blue screen.
My setting for bios

Hi Raja, I have another problem, today I benched my 2 x Crucial M4 64GB RAID0 with Crystal Disk Mark. It says my drive is only 300MB/s for read. But other people told me one single M4 should bench 500MB/s and in RAID0, they should bench 800MB/s
I am using the Disk Xpert utility to choose Superspeed to create my RAID0. I haven't installed any storage related drivers yet.
LLC is applying more volt, to compensate for v-droop.
Hi Raja, someone told me I am slow because I inserted my drives to the Marvell ports. He said I should insert them to the Intel ports. Is this true?
I suppose if I re-insert into Intel ports, I will need to re-install everything???
I don't know if this has been asked before but, is it possible to lower the %limit in chassis fan? Right now its range is 40-100%. Also does the pwm control work in chassis fan connector? i try to control pwm pump and it doesnt lower rpm, cpu connector works with pump.

Ok I will try VTT at 1.15
Rampage tweak Mode 1Haven't try it. Can i use that on a Sabertooth mobo.. link?
Speedstepping is on..
I found out that my bios would set my ram at 9-9-9-24-T1 but they are T2 so i have set them to t2..
I was thing of get som new memory for if what should i buy? 16gb
Not a fan, water pump. swiftech-mcp35x-pump and i flashed latest bios 1005.
Heh, almost knew that answer but the problem is that i have 2 of these beasts and 1 is connected to CPU fan and other is connected to CHA 1 fan. They both work from CPU header, but i need to control them individually.
These things take power from 4-pin molex and control from pwm. This could be a problem as its just 2 wires, Fan PWM and Fan IN. it does not draw any current from Fan header.
12 Volts DC convenience: plugs into the computer power supply
Variable speed control via PWM thru the motherboard, from 1300 rpm for completely silent operation, to 4500 rpm for ultra high flow performance;
Yeah, it works as it works but i would like to see, at least in future this feature that you can control multiple water pumps individually from mb connectors via pwm. I know this is really small % of users but still :D
Thank you for your help and your time. Now i just need to get the memory to work little faster than 1666mhz
