here in germany in few days .
B3 was released here in Australia over a week ago. My Extreme6 system is up and running :)
With my 2600k @ 4.8Ghz 1.38v load temps are mid 60s, prime small FFTs after a few hours.

So you didnt have good temps with d-tek and quad core CPU? I've had this block for awhile now. I have a backplate with screws that come up through the mobo, so my mounting is kinda custom. Seems to still do great. Using 4 screws through the mobo with just nuts absolutely sucked and I had temp issues, etc. Maybe it's my mounting that is keeping my dtek fuzion performing great.
This is driving me nuts. I'm running Extreme 4, UEFI 1.61. Every time I OC, on the next boot, my HDD is missing under the Boot settings.
The only way I can boot without error messages is to choose my external USB drive to be the first boot option.
Any one else? BTW, the HDD shows up in F11 boot choice.
Remove USB Drive while boot.
Thanks Ket!
Any news on the sound drivers THX/DTS you where messing around with?
Finally solved my random reboot issues at 5ghz! Been running for 45min. so far and no reboot! It turns out load line calibration was causing me all the grief, changed it from 5 to 4 and adjusted the voltage accordingly. Average 1.41v for 5ghz so far with no reboots, I'm gonna lower the voltage to 1.4v and see if it's still able to prime without reboots.

Cool, your chip seems to be dang near exactly the same as mine as far as clock speed/voltage needed. I have been running level 4 LLC on mine aswell. For 24/7 gaming ect. I have found my sweet spot at 4.6@1.32 load, very cool temps and as fast as anything I play needs im sure. These chips are quite amazing for the money and hell my board is solid as a rock, allmost hate to swap it for the new revision.
i cant use anymore bckl in win ,when i try to push 101 mhz, than jump back to 95.00 ???? it try win xp and win7 same , and cmos clear
Yeah I got it dialed down to 1.4v right now but I need to give it an overnight prime to make sure it's absolutely solid. I'm not giving up my board until it gives me a reason!:) I don't want to deal with an RMA so I'll keep this one till it breaks or something better comes along.
Thats better than my 2500k. I need around 1.4v for 4.8GHz, but at least 4.6GHz comes pretty easy.
Does anyone know why once I change the setting to change multiplier load line calibration disappears in the bios? tried 1.70, 1.80. Usng Asrock p67 pro3. LLC disappears as soon as I OC so I've never been able to play with the option unless the chip is stock.
Seems like UEFI's bug.
Wasn't able to get anything below 1.44v stable for LinX w AVX gonna let it prime tonight.

Got my B3 Extreme6 from newegg and swapped out my perfectly working from first boot B2 board and at first the system wouldnt boot/post so I took out a stick of ram and it posted...I put in both sticks in the white slots like I had it before and it doesn't boot? You guys have any ideas/suggestions? Board has 1.5 BIOS.
Ram is 2 x 4 GB Corsair Vegance 1600MHZ
At the moment dual channel is a no go  Both sticks will work together in white/blue slot aka single channel mode.
I also have this same issue, LLC disapeared the first time I used the EFI back in Jan. It would be nice to have but with my 24/7 clock of 4.5 on auto voltage the regulation seems fine under a full LinX /w AVX load.
Still haven't decided whether to take an advanced replacement for a Pro3 or upgrade to the Extreme4 by taking a full refund from newegg. Is there really any good reason to have the Extreme4 other than multi-GPU support (small chance I may use it). I don't quite understand the digital PWM feature the Extreme boards have that the Pro's do not.
New official BIOS for Fatal1ty and Extreme6 on ASRock webpage.
Quote:
1. Improve mouse fucntion under BIOS setup.
2. Keep User Profile after clear CMOS.
3. Patch 15" CRT monitor for BIOS setup.
Theres a new UEFI for the Extreme4, 1.61. Clicky
Its well worth trying this UEFI as it fixes the bug where saved profiles get wiped when you use the Clear CMOS button. Beyond that I'm not sure what other changes there are.
We know about it.
All I found was posts about UEFI 1.6, not 1.61.
