Yep thats MSI for you at 72F.
Clocks cpu alot higher at the cost of clock per clock performance. ;) Single threaded to multi threaded speeds are a rather large gap.
Titan we have had this discussion before, assumption is the mother of all F ups.
Might want to check HW bot, I do own the fastest single core chip in Pi ;)
Be glad to go on water and then phase change to show you guys linear scaling.
While you may need an AC blowing on your system. I have the equipment actually designed to do cold properly so why bother. Makes alot more sense to bolt cold to cpu than blow it at it ;)
So while you do it out of necessity I don't bother. I use AC's for what they are meant for, keep room at 72F ;)
It's summer time that AC is doing what it's meant to do, keep my living room cool.
sorry for the late screen shots, but better late than never i guess.

stable -.-
computer refuses to boot up @ anything above 3.75Ghz, some friend told me that my psu is holding me back overclocking a 6-core processor, it's a 650w coolermaster psu, shouldn't that be enough to reach 4.0Ghz?!
I have a HX 520W running +4.15GHz so no problem there.
It depends on what GPU(s) and other hw you have?
You really should look over your temperatures!
(Speedfan Temp1 is your CPU temperature, you shouldn't go after Core Temp as there is a difference in core and cpu temp)
65C is a bit high, you don't want to go over 62C...
The gpu is an HD 4670 @ stock. not a big deal i guess.
well its hot nowadays in egypt "where i live" and i don't usually do stressful operations on the cpu, but it is a good note as i figured out my temps are a bit higher than most, using freezer pro 7 rev.2, might want to recheck the HS base some other time later.
also, what temps should i stick to?! core temp reporting 57c as u can see in the LOAD screen shot while speedfan is @ 65
Well a 4670 could not stress the PSU more then my GF 9600GT :)
57C is your CORE temp and 65C is your CPU temp
It's the CPU temp you should go after (stick to) - not getting over 62C
I got a new one

Got my 1090t setup running only a couple days ago. At 4.2 with 1.42v so far, still working things out. Loving the 1090t so far though, great for $299.

I'll get your guys' new entries when I'm back in town Friday.
This thread should be stickied ?
why is not.
+1 for sticky
I agree demonkevy666
I hope they finally do so :D
+1 for sticky
And maybe a "standard" for cpu temp/voltage readings... ?
HWiNFO32 is good and should manage to get the readings of most boards...
Updated the charts with all known-outstanding submissions. PM me if I've missed you.
Regarding stickying this topic, someone just needs to message a moderator like MovieMan and they'll do it. I don't want to do it myself since it would just seem that I'm trying to serve my own purposes although I agree.
+1 for sticky as well >> do we really need to vote for this?! the thread speaks for itself, informative, organized .. etc.
The mods don't regularly cruise the AMD section for threads to sticky. They've said in the past to tell them if you want something stickied. That's how the original Phenom list of overclocks got to be so.
Water testing MSI now.
Still scaling speed. Imagine that

SS in the HWbot
http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...be_16sec_678ms
nah no where near that, roughly 1.55 IIRC, ambients havent changed and on a smallish rad 2x120 + dtek ( my high performance water setup is down atm ).
Tbh it makes almost no diff in single threaded ( 100 mhz ) and no gains at all for max cpu-z, need cold temps from my phase to see gains i guess.
Load apps is where i see the biggest diff.
