If you don't load optimized defaults (or the equivalent), then the default will be 700 for both. I'm pretty sure regardless, 800mv 900mv is the real default.

What do you think
The 2nd result is very efficient for such low cpu clock.
So, keep it? not keep it? Currently running 1900 atm, i'm starting to think it would be pointless considering bandwidth on this platform is plentiful.
I realize they are less common but does anyone have any guidance on the better 870 batches (if any)? 16 in stock at MC and I bet I can talk the kid into looking for particular ones (or letting me do it).
HI Everyone.. just got an i7. 860 from an XS member in the other day. I am a noob at OCing these things. my old q66 ran at 3.6 400x9 1.4vcore. im trying to get this 860 at least there. trying to keep below 1.3v,
here is what i got so far.
167blck x auto. ~3.5 ish at 21 multi when cores are loaded. vcore is at 1.25..everything higher crashes at some point in windows boot. Right now all power savings stuff and turbo is on i think.
i would prefer to have some power savings stuff on. What can i leave on that will still make OCing stbale?? i want the clocks and volts to go down durig idle. Dont care about Turbo too much if i can hit 3.6-4.0 with under 1.3v. It would be nice though if possible.
Any suggested settings to try??
im using a Asus p7p55D Pro, 4gb gskill 1600 cl9 mem, 750watt antec TP psu, crossfire 6870. Cooler is a Cooler mast v8.
anyhelp would be much appreciated.
