try that link
::: example :::
Videotron extreme 850kb/s down and 100kb/s up ;P
Verizon DSL 696kbps download, 119kbps upload
Bog standard 2mb DSL although speeds seem to randomly vary loads from much slower to much quicker.
Just like hausner, videotron extreme, btw its 10mbits down 900 up so thats 1250kB/s down and 112.5kB/s up even tho its hard getting more than 100, I often get 1000kB/s down downloading on private trackers =)Quote:

As you all (should) know. Here in Sweden we are well ahead of the rest of the world in terms of highspeed broadband. I live in a little city with 14,000 people. Max here is 24mbit/1mbit. I don't want to sound :banana::banana::banana:y, i just stick to the facts. I ran a speedtest and i've got 23,2mbit down, and 1,04mbit up. If your planning on study abroad. Try Lunds University here in southern sweden. All students get 1000mbit/s both up and down for free.. Each!
I have 12mb down / 1mb up , Ok for me
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!
what kinda of connection???
***edit***
I see cable very nice :D
In Portugal from the next year we go to have VDSL2 100 Mbits:). Now we are in a ticket for adsl2+ 24 Megas/512 KBps and 8 Megas/512 kbps:).
They just upgraded my lines in my apartment and my connection to 100MB. Whats a good program to measure download and upload speeds??
I like http://www.speedtest.net and http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest.Quote:

Check out my speakeasy speed test and tell me which provider you think I have.

There are so many providers, we can't even guess.

15mb 2mb up, im waiting for the 30mb down 5mb up that cox is upgrading to before the end of the year
I dont really need all that speed. I usually get the cheapest dsl package 1.5-3mb @ $15/month.
2 Mb Down - 400K Up ;)
Not bad for now :)
about 8-9 mbit down, and about 400 kbit up
I have cable. My only other choice is dial up. :(
 40E 125 kbit down
GPRS 5kbit up
--suxx! there is nothing except dial-up
Technically it's multiple OC3 (and an intranet oc12) connections but bandwidth is divided among residential subnets and given low priority. I usually get around 500-600Kb/s download speed and ping in the single digits on most west-coast CSS servers.
I haven't pushed the upload too far as to keep a low profile, but I know I can easily get 80Kb+
Edit:
