Greetings Xtreme members.
First Watercooled build and image post ever.
Koolance case
KT400 Dragon Ultra MB
Athlon XP 2200+ (The good 'ole days, for me at least)
Centon 512mb (Don't remember the speed rating)
MadDog Radeon 7200
80gb WD System Drive
60gb WD Backup and Storage Drive
TDK DVd Burner (when they cost a couple of hundred)
Lite-On Dvd reader
Antec True Blue 350 Watt PSU
I originally started watercooling due to heat concerns with video encoding sessions lasting half the day. I was fascinated by the first watercooled pc I saw on display at Compusa several years ago an I had to have one. This was months after my first build in 2003 (I've been fiddling around with computers since 1999). I've never looked back to air cooling. I was inspired to take the plunge by some of the XS members earlier work. I've been lurking around here for quite awhile an actually ashame to say how long. This system has since been cannibalized and laid to rest. I miss little drippy.
here's a lil update of my main rig, all these cables looked so annoying ^^

After years of my computer siting on a table, I finally took the time to install my hardware into a case.
Unlike the Torture Rack this case did not have the pre drilled holes for the tubes and only two pre- drilled Rad fan holes.

Athlon 64 4000 (939 Sandy)
1gb Corsair Platinum PC3200
ATI x850xt
(2) WD Raptor 74gb (8mb cache) Raid 0

Danger Den TDX, Maze 5 gpu, and chipset block
DD D5 variable
HWL BI Pro plus shroud (I didn't know any better)
Koolance coolant
Panaflo M series fans
Oh, and C3 case. I used a Lian-Li psu plate on the back to help distribute the weight of the psu across the back, away from the screw pressure points, preventing sagging an cracking seen on acrylic cases.
I don't see alot of members on the forum commenting on Koolance fluid but I have bottles of this stuff that sat on my shelf for years with no signs of seperation.
Same hardware plus SB Audigy 4, swapping BI for Swiftech rad, different case (V1000) and preferred loop order. Better temps overall.
looks mighty good.
My first foray into water cooling.

@M40TURBO: That is some beautiful looking liquid. I really dig how it matches the sleeving and the mobo heatsinks quiet well. I've never really been impressed by the actual liquid before, but man does yours look incredible!

Nice cable management and WC too.
Congrat.
this is mine
@Metasheep- VERY ambitious and well executed first time build! I'm impressed!
Wow, that is pure sex.
Nice setup Patty. The coolant in the res looks toxic in the first pic. I've been an AMD fan since Thunderbirds but I might go I7 next time around.
Here's my contribution, which is a slightly-modded Lian Li PC-V2010 based on the Rampage Extreme (X48) platform. It's currently a single-loop with everything mounted internally, still in need of some cable management. Please excuse the photo quality; I'm stuck using a cheapo camera for now. My build log and additional photos can be seen at http://asusindependent.com/forums/in...?showtopic=760

AntiHeroUK: beutiful and very clean rig. Congrats
@ AntiHeroUK You should probably loosen a bit those screws on GPU block- your card looks too much bent
