interesting, so it doesn't work with the silverstone strider?
Yes, its a Zeus but as another poster has replied, his was doing the same funky hyper flash and beeping until he changed the PSU. Im sending the board back. Ill try one more and see what happens.
Seems to be a compatibility issue with the Silverstones for some reason.
DFI NF4s had issues with Zippy's
this board seems to have issues witht he Zeus/Strider
I have a PC Power Cooling 510W SLI-ReadY PSU, but i also tested with my OCZ Powerstream 520W PSU, both does not work. When i press the Power Button there was no sign of anything, then 3 secs later the power led blinks, and it turn off immediatly.
Perhaps you guys can try these psu's with less load? Maybe one hard drive & video card only (possibly low end). I't seems the power connection to the motherboard for the cpu is sharing a rail. Your boards are behaving the same way as if the cpu power connector was not plugged.
I am pretty sure the squeezing sounds were come out of the capacitors, but i am going to request an RMA.
For those people looking for the board it has been listed at Atacom and does not say in or out of stock so I took a chance and ordered on Sunday. They called me to let me know thats it out till the middle of may. So don't place any orders there. They really should list its status like most of the other stores but o well. So I ordered all the other parts today lol....If I can't find one by tonight then its a Quad GT for me. I would be happy with either one in any event.
Sorry to hear your frustration bro, I went through the DFI shuffle in the beginning. I can't begin to imagine the amount of email they're receiving w/ all of use letting our buds know about this hot board.
Here's the orthos shot to back up my previous...

hey raju...
is DFI not going well with silverstone PSU?? any inputs.. :) guys please post your findings... :) tnxs.. :)
Using mine with a E6400, 7900GS and 4 hard drives using HEC 460W PSU. Seems stable for me so far at 8*400Mhz
Does the Enermax liberty 500w work well with this board?
Not listed here but then it might just not be tested yet:

ive got a Zeus and the other guy has a Strider. Neither seemed to work. Looks like a compatibility issue to me and i dont see DFI doing a damn thing about it. They didnt with the AMD NF4 SLI LP and Zippy's.
I didn't, just left @ default.
Has anyone who is having problems with their psu hooked up the extra power connection on the mobo? There is a header on the board that takes the same connector as the fdd.
I found this out, I RTFM!!!:fact:
Maybe before everyone is crying fowl on DFI, someone can try this.
ztop, those temps are kinda hot even at 1.40v and with a Scythe. Mine's doing 60C too but stock cooler and lapped IHS. VCore's about 1.42v for my setup
Hicks121: Yeah, that connector is important. Before plugging it in, even at 1.45v couldn't get it to be stable at 3.2Ghz but now with the connector in, I can achieve the same clocks with lower voltages
Well curiousity got the best of me and I set up my board with my Zeus 750.
It booted up and I'm in the bios.
So I guess I don't have a problem,,, yet. :)
What I would like to know is, where are the contact points to measure the voltages? My 12 rail is 11.77 at idle with just my 8800gtx on the board.
Well I have not hooked my board up yet, but will be getting to that this weekend & see how this baby clocks. My P5B-D would run my 6300 @ 535fsb stable, but its kinda warm so 500 is my #.
