Yeah, Dog, do you have the file? Send it to me in a PM so I can throw it on my server.

AAaanndd, rehosted. http://nickfire.com/msibios/975x-powerup/7246v714B.zip :D
Anyone try it out?
Nope, go flash ur bios. :D
lol why me first?
I have a question about winflash, how come I can't select reset CMOS and clear CMOS at the sametime when I have seen other people do it?
JUst flashed to 7.14B Can't se any changes in the bios. No new options.
Gone try a bit overcloking to see if i can get better fsb this time.
Edit: Well no miracel in the overcloking area eather :/ No changes from 7.11.

UPDATE:
I just tried Overclocking. On stock voltages and default settings, the 711 bios allowed me to go to 238 FSB. The 714 allows me to do 254 on stock settings. (Im still clocking). I guess thats one improvement. Ill update you guys on how far I can get.
w00t, improvements! :D
Yeah, at least there's that! We still need to see some vMCH though :woot:
GRR, im still not happy with the OC though. I topped out at 333 Mhz FSB with 14 mutli.
I took screen at 315x14

:( :slapass:
Common MSI give us more bios options! vMCH, correct temp/volt readings. Get your own damn programs to read your temps correctly..
My voltage was 1.56 in the pick, but it was being read as 1.43. wtf!

Everyone look and post what you want.
What do you guys think "PCI Express Voltage" is for?
It is exactly the same thing as VMCH voltage.
Setting it to 1.7V from bios equals 1.75V on my board.
^^^ I told them that a few pages back but I guess they didnt read it. :(

heh, sorry JasonDTM, must've jumped right over your post! :wasntme: :zombie:
The Stilt, what does 1.75v do for you on the board (ie. got any OC results? ;))
Wrong, we read it but didn't think that it went hand in hand that much.:DQuote:

Well, I would have guessed that that option only adjusts how much voltage is supplied to the PCIe slot and only the PCIe slot through the chipset. :DQuote:

Noticed so far that:
+12v reads correctly in bios
FSB frequency (for Celeron-waiting for my E6600) is 133-166
Does that affect PCI-E voltage as well though? Don't wanna end up killing a graphics card... :eek:Quote:

The website said 5-7 days so hopefully by then I can start ripping the :banana::banana::banana: out of it.
I've downloaded the beta BIOS in anticipation. Keep us updated on the new features and any improvements.
Raging Dragon, where did you buy from? Tempted to go with either Scan or Komplett... Scan I could get an E6600 now, but I have a £50 voucher at Komplett if I can wait a few weeks for the CPU to come into stock
Tip, run the memory 1:1 or you will have boot problems just like all the other 975X mobos;) Make sure all your memory settings are on manual or you will have issues. Then you will pass 400 fsb no problem, assuming your cpu and ram are up to it.
Also I would not call it a junk bios, I'm flying along without a single issue.
It seems like some options in the BIOS are "lost in translation" to some people. It seems like there are some irregular naming of options. What nationality where the people who designed this BIOS? I'm guessing they weren't Americans (thus the "lost in translation").
Wow, and you're on the 7.0 BIOS as well  good stuff!Quote:
