It "seems" like you can expect a fair number of 975 boards to manage it. 965 the jury is still out (which this close to release would lend a lot of bets on "no")

I think the Gigabyte 965 board with its 12 phase power design looks a good bet for quad core support :D
Don't think this is possible. 975 comes with ICH7. Will keep a look out, tho'.Quote:

think that's all ;)
Just a wonder. Newegg has recently sold out of the ASUS P5WD2-E Premium Motherboards. When they are back in stock, does that mean they will probably be the latest revision that supports conroe?
when they are shipped now via Asus it might be. but if they refill before the new Revision is supplied -> :(Quote:

How does DFI's naming scheme work? I see Infinity, Lanparty, and Lanparty UT on their site? Is it like:
Infinity = Basic
Lanparty = Deluxe
Lanparty UT = Premium?
Aslo, what will ATI's SB650 have over SB600 other than 2 more SATAs?
Infinity 975X/G could be changed to AVAILABLE
This could be of interest to ppl looking at this thread:

You are partially correctQuote:

So we can expect both DFI's NF590 SLI-T2R/G and RD600-T2R/G to, basically, glow? I know there's no ASUS RD600 on the list, but should we expect one? Maybe a P5R32-MVP? I love the layout of the A8R32.
On the first post you say:
But the link in the P5WDG2-WS Pro goes to Asus and shows a P5WDG2-WS (non PRO). P5WDG2-WS is actually in stock, does it have conroe support ? Or only the "PRO" version will support them ? (any link to "PRO" version ? )Quote:
Asus
* P5W DH Deluxe - ATX - Available in June
* P5WDG2-WS Pro - ATX - Not available
* P5WD2-E Premium rev 1.3 (not 100% sure) - ATX - Available but not rev 1.03G
Maybe a new bios for P5WDG2-WS will make them Conroe ready ?
yeah im kinda waiting for a "P5R32-MVP Deluxe" too :toast:Quote:

Then a P5WDG2-WS (non PRO) Rev 1.03 wouldn't support them ?Quote:
