Yes, I checked, nothing new there, the same "your order submitted to warehouse" for more than a week, nothing is going anywhere, send them one email, that email is bounced and that is all I got from Monarch. I don't see anything exceptional about them. If I have to wait another week, they won't get any more purchases from me.

I spoke to Kim in the order status department at Monarch and she told me that my 4000+ SD core should be shippng out today. Those of you that pre-ordered the 4000+ should also be receiving tracking numbers today. Looks like they already sold out the first shipment though.

the 3500+ Venice at newegg now says SSE3 instructions........hehe being the good nerd I am I e-mailed the yesterday and told them they needed to update their info lol :toast:

Called Monarch twice and spoke with two different reps, and been told the same thing, they'd already received the first batch of oem 3700 San Diego, they'll get the second batch of shipment this evening to cover the rest of the 3700 SD pre-orders. They will start shipping them out tonight and next Monday, the sooner these processors got scanned in the warehouse the quicker they can get them out, looks like we'll be getting our new toy either Next Monday or Tuesday but no later than Wednesday since Joe from Monarch upgraded the shipping to overnight fo free! I'd posted the same update on the other SD OC thread but will post it here just incase someone missed it.

YUP, Monarch has SOLD OUT of 4000+ San Diego's....

I was told they are packing and prepping like CRAZY there in Georgia to ship ALL of these chips TODAY!!

Dude, chill... What would you expect from "pre-orders". If I remember correctly, only OEM 3500+ was scheduled to be in stock on May 29th, at least for those that pre-ordered... OEM 3000/3200 were not supposed to be in until May 6th... So just sit down and relax, bro. If you don't like the way it is, cancel and order from Newegg...

About newegg vs. Monarch

Newegg is fine, too... they have good prices and a great selection, but I've never been able to send emails back and forth to a sales rep, and when I asked them for an ETA on a SD, I got back a form letter saying to watch the site, as all new items are listed there. Not even a "yeah, I asked Jim and he said they'll be here Fri.".... PLUS I'm in Cali and the tax alone on this CPU would have been over $40... the price of a new XP-90C!!!!!! BTW, check out Monarch for a $249 X800XL PCI-E!!! Oh and sign up for their email special's!!!

Last time I checked, Newegg only got the 3500 Venice in stock, while on the other hand Monarch have already received multiple version of Venice and Sandy in their warehouse getting ready to be ship, Plus the fact that Joe at Monarch willing to go the extra mile and upgrade our shipping to overnight for no additional cost, I don't know what else can you ask for, this is the first time I dealt with Monarch but my experience has been good so far, won't be the last time I order from them either. I've been using Newegg in the past couple years and 99% of the components in my rig came from Newegg so yes I agreed they don't give me any hassles on RMA item, quick shipping (normally same day I'd ordered), and fair price so not like I'm bashing them or anything. Customer service is a big plus, and I have to admit Monarch is doing a better job to make their customers happy, but Personally...I would order from whichever e-tailer have the stuff in stock, and offer the best price!! :D

I'm curious... does Joe usually reply to the "please upgrade shipping" e-mails, or does it just happen? This is the first order I've placed with Monarch, and the last thing I want to do is badger the guy about upgraded shipping, especially if they're so busy getting god knows how many orders packed and shipped.

I don't really NEED the overnight shipping, since I don't know for sure when my stuff from newegg will be showing up, but at least overnight on the CPU and motherboard will mean two less things to be waiting on.

And if you want to watch you gotta get your own (put nyah, nyah smile here) :D

I was not upgraded to Overnight. However I originally ordered with Ground shipping so maybe they only upgrade 1 level. I got FedEx Express Saver, which isn't bad at all. I should get mine Tuesday hopefully.

I just ordered a 3700, DFI Ultra-D, and an x850xt. I'm just hoping I get in on their current shipment and that I get it shipped out next week. Regardless though, this kind of customer service should be rewarded.

Ugh, now that OEM is shipping I hope there is some news on a retail boxed version soon for the San Diego's. I chose the boxed version for the warrenty, stupid decision? Maybe. If anyone has news on the retail version please let us know. Bad thing is that I tried to switch to OEM today but all slots were already taken for the pre-order.

Newegg has been raising prices alot lately. They used to offer free shipping on most items, now their shipping is way too high. I buy from ZZF now. Either there or Monarch is where I'll get a venice from. Newegg does have a good return policy, but I haven't had any trouble at ZZF. Just my :2cents:

I just saw Monarch pushed back the ETA on the OEM 3700 SD to 5/19/05.....WTF?? I still haven't receive any shipping info from them, called them this morning and they said someone will get back to me on the status, but it's noon now and I have yet to hear anything from them.....I hope they're not messing around man, this sucks!

Monarch had 2 batches of 3700s AFAIK, all which were sold to pre-orderers. Anyone ordering now will have to wait till they get more. Most got their shipping notice on Friday, when did you order?

Anyhow, does anyone know if this memory sticks are any good? Description of the sticks below. I need as much memory as I can get cuz I use VMWare a lot. I will primarily use this system for software development but will use it for gaming too! I've also order a DFI nF4 SLI-DR for my motherboard. Not very sure on what video card to get thought. Thinking of getting 2 6800 ultra but not sure yet.

You'd probably have better luck buying 4 x 512mB of a good UTT like MUSHKIN REDLINE and running about 230-240 @ 2T...

I ran over to Monarch's retail store at lunch today. :woot: Got an OEM 3200 Venice for $194.00, 5 bucks less than their web page, but of course had to pay Georgia sales tax. The fellow at the store said they had "lots of them" in stock. Now I just have to wait until 5:30 p.m. to go home and try it out. :rolleyes:

Where's their store in your area? I live in montgomery, so it wouldn't be too far of a drive for me to head over there if it's in the Atlanta area :D

got a reply from Joe, he said my pre-ordered didn't went out on the first batch!! :mad: I just sold my cpu to a buddy of mine over the weekend so I got nothing left to run the rig now, looks like I'll have to keep an eye on newegg just incase they got the San Diego in stock sooner than we all expected, then I'll have monarch refund my money and order the SD through newegg, for now I'll have to pick up a Venice to play around with :stick:

It's on the northeast side of Atlanta in Tucker. Their web page has directions, it was not hard to find. I assume you will come in on I20 - just go North on I85 in the middle of town. Fair warning - you don't want to be in Atlanta traffic after 4:00 p.m. - we have hideous rush hours.

holy cow! newegg is selling the 3500 Venice for $315.00! Geewiz...how could they went from $272 to $315?!?!?
