I also posted in the case section in that gallery on pg26. In my opinion those pics are not great quality, i got this one before the camera battery died and will take more when its off the charger.
Edit: Added second pic
lol this picture is much better than others. Good job.
thanks, just got this camera and am trying to get a feel for it
Organized some of my cabling and replaced my 3x120 and 2x120 rads with a quad.

hi everyone this is my first post and also my first watercooling setup. i'd like to thank XS for all the stuff and info that is in here that helped me with this build over the last couple months!:clap:
Cheers and thanks to other p180's on this forum as i feel they gave lots of inspiration for me to finish this and a lot of whats in here is kind of based on what they have already accomplished with this case. :worship:

Hi guys,
Here is my rig, completed today before filling, bleeding and leak-testing, hope it goes well.
Its far from as impressive as most setups here, but im proud of it for something from a novice watercooler in such a small case.
Pics arent that great either, but what the hell.

pretty nice setup skane, what graphics card is that?
skane
can u say me please what is your pump temp?
My graphics card is a 5870.
Waterflex, is there a place where i can find a readout for the temp? I dont think i have a thermometer that i can use to check. To the touch it feels normal, not hot or so.
My cpu temps at prime95 load are 57-54-55-56 for the different cores at stock settings.
Kissy 123 - brilliant job on your first build dude - thats a really tidy looking setup :).
I'd suggest rotating the XT thru 180 degrees though - itll make for cleaner water flow and easier bleeding. You basically want your water to flow from the lowest point to the highest point. in that vein it may then be better to go pump > cpu > gpu > rad. That may even let you reduce your tubing somewhat too (not that you have too much, just less tubing is almost always better for flow rates).
Either that or stand the case on its front to bleed it/leak test it. You'll have to unscrew your pump from the case to do it but you should find that itll bleed a lot faster.
Anyway, I don't want to come across as being critical as that is an awesome effort for a first build dude.
thanks pilsy i really appreciate the feedback and i will definitely take your advice in consideration!:up:
Thatīs very nice, Paul ! :)

Hello, my first post here, I'm a newbie to pc modding and watercooling in general. I used peltier modules for cooling aquarium water on a salt water fish tank project back in 2007 and used xtremesystems.org forums as a reference on how to apply pelties. After seeing all the water cooling projects on here and aftermarket products for pc cooling, I had some ideas brewing about a custom pc build of my own and found time in 2009 to act on it. Here's some pics of result. A DangerDen Tower 26 case with stainless steel grills, air intake manifolds on radiators, and rigid flared tubing for lines.
Wow, sreuland...
Wow...
I like the inside-out style you have transit921!
I'll be joining you Mjhieu, as I finally have space and time for my Raven i7 build that I have been complaining about...
My first ''2'' loops in my HAF932.
CPU loop:
-i7 920 at 3.9 (for now...)
-Apogee XT block
-TFC X-Changer 360
-Swiftech MCR655 pump
-Swiftech Micro-RES
-EK top rev 2
-Fans: 3X S-Flex ''F''
GPU loop:
-ATI 5970
-EK-5970 block
-Swiftech MCR320
-Swiftech MCR655
-Swiftech Micro-RES
-EK top rev 2
-Fans: 3X S-Flex ''E''
Misc:
-Fan controller: Scythe Server (really nice, all automatic fan control)
-HAF 932
-Asus P6T deluxe v1
-RAM 12 Gb Corsair DDR3-1600
-Hard disk: 2X Intel X25-M v2 160 Gb + Velociraptor 300 Gb + 2X Seagate 7200.12 1Tb
-X-Fi Titanium
-PSU: Corsair HX1000
-LG Blu-ray writer
I still have cable mangement to do. But everything is working fine.
And sorry for the bad pic. I'm not really a ''photograph''.

Looks good. Is that tubing uv red or is it clear with the red uv coolant? I know you have the red coolant because of the res, but its hard to tell on the tubing.
Although in the first pic the res looks purple or a violet color?????
They are enermax magma's

38mm thick fans tend to have more static pressure than their 25mm thick brethren. It basically means that when you place a 25mm fan on a radiator (for instance), it'll blow a certain percentage of its maximum airflow potential. If you place a 38mm fan on top of the radiator (if the 38mm and 25mm were to have the same max airflow potential) it would blow a higher percentage of its maximum airflow potential. This is why everyone likes 38mm thick fans for radiator use.
Well with that being said what will an airbox do? Will an airbox paired with 25mm fans give the same or better as its 38mm counterparts?
I also just thought of something. When I got this hackjob from [H]Forum the mcp320 qp was mounted on the top of the haf932 with 3 120x38mm fans between the case and the rad. The above fans that I really like are mounted below the rad. Is there any benefit? Also it appears that the pic above is pulling case air through the rad and out the case. Some say its better to pull air from outside in. With doing that though any heat disipation off the rad will end up as stagnant air flowing around inside the case until it is pulled out via any rear exhaust fans correct? Wouldn't it be better (since the real heat producers theoratically "cpu and gpu" would be cooled via blocks) to have the air pull from internally and out the top of the case through the rad since the internal air temp should be much cooler then if running standard hsf setups?
Sorry to jack the thread, but kinda hard to move an already discussed topic to another thread. My bad for starting this up. LOL
racuch,
how did you get that backplate for video card + sound card?
can i custom order too? please let me know! thanks

I have that same mobo and cant got the blue display thing to say stuff...
I've been reading about static pressure on these magma fans and that they're kind of low but not bad cfm per db sound rating. I have about 5 of them in my case with three on my radiator. They look nice and are blow a decent amount of air just bad with static pressure which you need going through a rad. Heres a picture of mine:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...1/DSC00582.jpg
Yes, I originally had a Feser X-changer 360, but I prefer the XFlow because (1) the barb positions allow me to run less tubing (2) makes the interior of the case alot cleaner and (3) I noticed no difference in temps between the XFlow and Xchanger (which really surprised me).
Btw, I love this case; it makes wire management simple and results in a clean looking setup.

This weekend he's almost 100% finished, maybe I'll switch the cpublock from time to time
but I ordered an mcw30 for the SB and an EK Coolstram XT 120 to add in the gpu/moboloop :)
ow and a bp radgrill for the top = much more stylish :)
Than I hope I can route the 2nd loop 100% out of silver tubing :)
Heres pics of my build
Its about 3/4 done

As you can see the top and the sides of the case are off. It was easier to do the build this way without scratching anything. I did 2 loops. Cpu (toxic green UV) and GPU (clear UV blue) In this pic the loops are both filled and leak tested or 3 days. with 0 leaks. I am using Distilled H2O with PT Nuke

So This is still an in-process build. It is my 4th watercooled rig and my 1st dual loop. Reason I went 2 loops is I was going to go x-fire off the bat with 2 5870's but decided to wait a while (6-8months) for the prices to go down a bit. I already have the 2nd EK 5870 water block all ready for it though.
i just built my first water cooled case...
