Classic, he swore he wasn't scared when he got off the "Free-fall", and was pissed for even suggesting it.

great capture Weevil!
Marin, damn nice shot... reminds me of a scenery i saw while on a train in china... it must have been either rice or wheat field, ready for harvest... when the wind blew, it was like a ocean of gold...
Ha, he knows but these vettes will prob tear me up in the auto x though. I got there kind late so I didn't really get a hang of how the track is setup and what not so next time I'll be better prepared. I'm going rent the 70-200 f2.8 for next month event so we'll see how that is like.
Looking at some old 35mm film that my father took back in the days.

That's awesome dude. Looks like something off a stock photo gallery.
Btw how do you like the new Siggy with the OS?
Thanks =)
Well, I have not tried the old one, and the only other normal zoom I have tried on my canon is the kit lens, which imo it runs rings around.
(OS actually works, fairly quick/silent HSM, much less CA and a nice f2.8 for low light situations.)
Is it sharp wide open all the way trough? Or does it have to be stopped down past 50mm to retain sharpness?
I haven't done any proper tests on that, but I can't say I have noticed any loss of sharpness through the range and I pixel peep all the images I take.
It's interesting though so I will do some tests ;)
Supposedly it gets soft especially on the corners from 50-70mm.
But then again it is Sigma, the sample variations are as wide as the pacific.

too square yeah? maybe use a rounded gradient to make it look like vignetting?
i just wish there was a vignetting tool for jpegs like the photoshop raw tool has
I squared it off to make it look like borders.
Download LR 3 Beta 2. It's free and you can play with the vignetting sliders!

I made a light box this weekend, having fun playing around with it but still working on the settings, I am finding little tweaks as I go to make the shots better. I need to pick up some white tape so I can hide the corners because they tend to cause a shadow.
