3GHz 30 mins prime stable @ like ~1.46v I'm guessing, plus the stepping has the same ring as the 0550VPMW. :) Of course, assuming the shown results are for that chip.
O RLY? :D:D:D And no temps in the SS. 35 minutes SP2004 Small Priority 2, SP16M instead of 32M. Suspicious anyone?Quote:

in case anybody would like to see my final watercooling product....

Just got my 170 that ordered from Monarch mid last week. It's a CCBWE 0609FPAW. Anyone know anything about these? I won't be able to setup my system for about a week. I did a search in this thread and this chip didn't pop up. Maybe it's a new one, beyond the CCB1E 0609FPAW. Thanks.
Very nice, Grinch:clap: I personaly would like blue better.:)
Maybe someone could help me out.:( Been overclocking my 170 for some time. I have DFI Expert and Ultra-D. On Ultra-D i can run prime 12 hours 2,8ghz 1,375v but with that same clock on Expert fails instantly. It doesn´t matter which bios i use but i did find a setting in bios that affects stability. If i disable SSE/SSE Instructions on Expert it´s as stable as it was on Ultra-D. But disabling that loses performance, can´t even run 3d05. Pisses me off when people talking about that things overclock better on Expert, doesn´t seem to work on me. The opteron is not the only thing that overclocks less on Expert, have a couple of sets of ram here that seem to work better with Ultra-D(including BH-5).:(
fyi, all the auctions from that guy show the same prime screen, whether it's 0609, 0550, or that 0606Quote:

I sure wish I could make the time to test this chip out. I will likely be able to post some results next Tuesday - just too much work to do, plus I bought all new hardware so I need to set up a lot more than this chip.Quote:

I'll be watercooling this chip after I run it through on a Zalman fan first.
Well 0609 means the chip was made in the 9th AMD work week in 06.. and the second to last two letters in the 5 letter code are what mem controller it is. In this chip-
C-regular production chip
C-dual core 1mb cache
BW/B1-mem controller revisions
E-rev E cpu
Anyway I will have my results tomorrow then
Nice.. so 0550 means those were made just before Xmas.. :)
So the AMD employees were really excited for Christmas vacation and they gave that little extra effort into the chips! Or you could argue that all they could think about was vacation and could care less about the damn chips.:nono:Quote:

i'm serious too. that oc on stock is godly
I have a single core 144 I'm selling, does over 2.9GHz on stock voltage (which is 1.35v, I don't know any other single core Opterons with 1.35v as auto). Sadly I sorta wanna keep this guy. :cool:Quote:

Nice! :toast: :woot:
[QUOTE=Grinch]damn. i can't get my 0546xpmw to ur speed at all. with 1.42v i can prime at 2.7 by using 300x9. 1:1 ratio. can't hit anything higher. tried a lot of different settings. not sure why. temps are at around 45C dual prime.Quote:

If this is considered stable my 170 is 3GHz stable @ 1.48V. Failed after 6.5hr prime at one core... :mad:Quote:
