Amazing pic Weevil, my favorite by far! Where is it?
Thx, that's near Big Sir, about 10 miles south of Carmel at a place called Rocky Point.
Technically not perfect, but I like the motive.

Yupp, very interesting to see how straight lines turn into curves :( But I need a wide-angle-lens first.

Technical aspect is overrated if you want to do "art" photos.. Its good as long as that picture tells something, or ppl feel something when they look at that.. You can shoot similar pics even on film and it will be still good.
High level of technical perfection is for us, who cant shoot good pictures, so we at least try to shoot technicaly perfect pictures. :D (or cheat them via PS)

Thx everyone :)
The problem is I took this picture on a tour with three others who are way, way ahead of me. When they look at such pictures they can name several issues which I didn't notice before. That might be one reason I'm extremely sceptical ;) It was fun nevertheless!
Well, the picture was taken in a castle that was abandoned about ten years ago. It's crazy what vandalism does to such nice buildings.
Different building.

No reason to be sceptical, your photos are good. Yea, maybe they are not perfect by technical side, but Ive seen work of many "pro" photographers or even really famous ones and they sometimes have technical issues, but it doesnt change fact that they create good photos..
me thinking very very deeply.... O_o
( i told you when the 7D is on, she's bad a$$ and coupled with a nice sharp lens, she's killer.... when it focuses properly, good thing i used Remote Live view lol)
