I hope you plan to sell the MB as well incase something got in there that cause this. I wouldn't move the chip from the socket yet.

I don't feel like reading through this whole thread, does anyone know whether the CPU was unlocked when tried in a different motherboard? Has he tried another 3000+ Venice in the same mobo?

Yes he tried other CPUs and they were not unlocked, I don't think he tried it in different mobo

Can any user of locked 3000+ venice post his CPU-Z dump? please

yes he did try it in another mobo. cant remember what mobo or what page he said it. But this question ahs already bgeen covered. It was unlocked in the second mobo also.

I have two dumps with my 3000+, one is at 230 HTT the other 200, there are differences between them and the ones posted above. the MSR C0010041 is the same as pirs on mine. dont know if thats relevant.

Please note that we need only dumps at stock speeds and volts.
