Not necessary for the multiplier he's using, although I suppose it wouldn't hurt.
Yup, internal PLL is always a good thing to have on, not absolutely necessary but handy all the same.
So still no new bios for Extreme 4 guys ?
The newest UEFI for the Extreme4 is 1.6A (check first page for DL linky) 1.6A fixes almost all of the bugs I reported to Asrock with the last major one being how all saved profiles are wiped when using the Clear CMOS button. As there is a UEFI floating around that fixes that problem for the fatty board, it shouldn't take long for a new Extreme4 UEFI to come out with that fix too.
has anyone seen the Extreme 4 B3 boards for sale in the US yet ?
Their probably going to start floating around in the next week or two. Theres nothing wrong with my B2 board though so no RMA hassles for me :D
1.60 @Extreme4.

Modify boot logo.
Perhaps for B3 Ready boards.
I'd stick with 1.6A. Awesome UEFI and who cares about a boot logo anyway? :p:

@Ket
Maybe you could help me because of yours good contact with ASRock support.
My cooler Arctic Freezer 13 http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/cp...13.html?c=2181 has got fan speed rated at 600-2000rpm. When in BIOS I have set CPU Fan speed to Automatic mode, Target CPU temp 60C and level 1 the lowest fan speed is 1700rpm. Why it can't go lower? The highest speed at full LOAD is also above the spec. I saw 2200+ rpm.
Do you think it is BIOS issue?
Every fan has an error margin in RPM's (for example a Scythe fan has ±30% at low RPM's and ±10% at high RPM's).
As for Level 1 question I guess that at that level voltage is still too high (probably around 7-8V).
You can try latest SpeedFan beta, I know that I can control my fans in whatever limits I wish (only case fans and CPU2 header fan because I have a Ninja 3 fanless on my CPU so no need to adjust CPU PWM fan).
I think the ones who spend the money in the F3T4lity (fetality or fatality one)can be a must to be able to change the Boot logo.I think booting with the face of Mr wendell looking at you is a bit scary  .
But say to Asrock guys thet there are also users of the Extreme6.No good changes since 1,33b and was a beta...so please less conversation and moore work on the Xtreme 6 please;)
Try this one: ASRock P67 Extreme6 UEFI 1.51
http://www.pctreiber.net/forum/intel...1_14509.0.html
There is a 1,6 straight in Asrock site .But this is Xtremesystems forum, not the brotherhood of fancy overclockers.I want impossibles as one 2000 true step,no other builder thid, for memory. If there is a trouble in the strap...i will let it go.I want moore and moore control.Asrock gave to us at least a separated control over memory. That is a step i really appreciatte.I want also to be able to change my boot bios and if possible, even to change the uefi names on screen. You know, translating it to spanish by myself or something like that.
Control over bios and hardware is like sex or money...you never get enough of it never in your whole life ;) .
2000MHz memory divider is not supported in Sandy Bridge memory controller and it will never be. It's not ASRock issue. Forget about it.
Hi

Looks like 1.61 is available for Extreme4

I'm using this for a few days already, no problems so far :)
New bios was nothing but problems on Pro 3. I'm running 4.8 @ 1.80v. Can pass Prime small, IBT and LinX using new linpack libs in SP1.
Under 1.80 bios it BSODs with a 101 at the same settings. Even 4.8 @ 1.40v BSOD. I went back to 1.70 and everything is back to fine.
I had more BSODs with 1.80 than I've ever had with any other bios and it was only on the board for about 2 hours. Anyone else report any changes in your OC with the latest bios for the Asrock p67s?
I haven't had any issue with overclocking, 4.8 @ 1.36v is still stable as ever and I'm still not able to prime blend at 5ghz. The numlock bug is still there and my OC shows as 3710mhz for some reason in the uEFI and boot screen.
