Bigtoe's modded bios thread.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me mod a bios for my Asus K8N. I search every where but couldn't find anything useful. MSI motherboard with the same chipsets can be overclocked to 350HTT and I tried it from windows with clockgen and it's stable but bios only has up to 300HTT. I have no knowledge of bios modding and don't know what I can add to bios options. I just need to overclock my system a bit more.

PLEASE MR BIGTOE, where is this new P4C bios.. iv see nthe new ASUS beta has minimal Vcore and Multi options to play with if u get the Ct-479 but i need more.. HELP !!!

Hi, I'm new to these forums. Can you mod a An35/n Ultra motherboard bios for me?

Or assist me in modding it myself, I've modded video card bios'es many times.

I would like a chipset voltage setting in my bios, and maybe higher core and memory voltage.

ANY help would be appreciated.

I can't see them anywhere, and I can't find the tictac BIOS for the Abit NF7-S V2.0, where the heck is it? I can't even find them on Google....

Hi Bigtoe. I would ask you if i can flash a bios for a Epox 8KDA3+ on a 8KDA3+ Pro.
The motherboard use different bios. Here the links for the specs:

8KDA3+

The basic difference is the SATA system.
For the 8KDA3+ there are 6 SATA ports. 2 are controlled by the chipset and 4 by a non specified controller (probably Silicon Image). For the 8KDA3+ Pro there are 4 SATA ports, 2 controlled by the chipset and 2 controlled by a Marvell 88SR3020 SATA PHY.

The rest of the specs are identically, also the IO Winbond controller and the Gigabit PHY by Vitesse.

could someone give me some tips, guides or at least links for making voltmods on gigabyte k8ns-939? i would appreciate that. thx

the damn thing doesnt even have the multi for HTT :(

I have search the web for a modded bios to my SN41G2, but no succes.
Tryed to get it from tictac web site but it was closed.. I know he modded a bios for it.

unhide hidden features
enable vcore change
enable vdimm change
enable cpu multiply change
enable nb volt

Or what you find able to enable! hihi

can or does some one have a modded bios please send me or link me to it.

HI i am new to bios modding bu have tried it on my MSI K8N Neo Platinum mobo.

Anyways I wanted to know if a DFI LanParty UT nF3 250GB Bios wud work on my mobo (as both have same chipset)???

If yes then how to flash it???

Can I change different parts of MSI K8N NEO's Bios with DFI LP nF3 250Gb UT's bios via award bios editor???

You'll end up with an unuseable board if you try that. They both use the same chipset, yes, but how each motherboard maker design the board differs. no to all your questions :(

it´s from shuttle sb61g2v3 with intel i865g chipset. I know there a some hidden functions in the advanced chipset sections, but they take no effect at all.

but maybe you find something that winbond bh-5 ic´s are working better on it :D (vdimm is modded, so that is not the problem)

especially, unlock all hidden options and, if possible, enable to set vcore lower than 1.65V for mobile processsors...
otherwise it would be great if you could tell me, how to edit this bioses, which programs? 'cause i can't find anything to open this bioses :(

hi i was wondering if someone could help me.....

i have flashed to 704-2bt on my dfi ultra-d....anyways when i try and enter the bios i get to a screen that says something on the lines of intel ide raid conroller v4....detecting array....

it just hangs there an never actually lets me in the bios......

i have unplugged everything except for 1 cd drive and my keyboard and mouse, both of which are non-usb.....

also i noticed that there is 1 red diagnostic led still lit when it hangs here....

any ideas as to how to fix this would be great as id like to get a few extra clocks out of my 3200 with this....
