any mate can feed back something about the newest bios 0507?
Well after getting another problematic P6T7 I have decided to go back to tried and true EVGA. I currently have and in the past have had Asus products and have had zero problems with them. I had a Striker Extreme when those things were cool and it was awesome (they still are pretty cool if you ask me:cool:). I have a couple micro ATX boards of various flavors in servers/HTPC's and they are great. I have had several EEE PC's and those have been perfect. But this scares me away from a $400 motherboard. This one had a dead memory slot. So I sent it back and went to microcenter and picked up a standard EVGA X58. Its been working well now for a few days and everything is functioning. I don't want this to scare anyone away from the P6T7 as I really did like it. I just got a couple bad ones. Hope everyone else has better luck than me. I will be checking back though periodically to see how the board is coming along. Maybe if they implement USB 3.0 and SATA 6gb I might come back to it and try again. We will see.
Looking for a new post of the latest BIOS...
Please....
Thanks
Why not to use the bios that was meant for overclocking - the difference is night and day.
I thought that the newer bios was the only one that would work with a W3550 processor. If the overclocking bios works on that board that with that cpu that would be great.
Is that link still active in the thread?
thanks
The link is still active http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?1nq4wuny2ng
The only thing that it was released more than half a year ago and there haven't being any special bios update since then. So I am not sure if it is compatible with the W3550 processor at all.
Are there any known compatibility issues between P6T7 and Dominator GT 3x2gb? A friend of mine gets some weird issues while gaming that go away when he uses some kingston 3x1gb sticks. Sticks pass linx etc but he still get some random reboots from time to time (like once per day, or maybe even a little bit less than that).
Qualified memory sticks for the board:

can somebody upload the 0507 bios once again because the link does not work anymore.
Here it is, 0507 bios.

thanks a lot for the file. any feedback regarding this BIOS? Did somebody installed a gulftown on this board with this BIOS?
Yes I installed my Gulftown yesterday and it worked great, got i up to 4 Ghz. The only thing I dont like is that the CPU ratio setting has gone from the AI tweaker menu in this BIOS.
Tried to push it further but the mulipler kept dropping under load, but I'll try again to day. I'm kind of a rookie in OC.
which revision is your gulftown? Q3FE or Q3QP?
please take your time and do some tests and also keep us informed. i'm interested in having a feedback from you since i'll get a gulftown in about 2 weeks.
Any one have coldboot on there p6T7 supercomputer ?
My board cant boot below -45
I'm testing a Gulftown on my P6T7 and it works great up to 4 Ghz but when I go over the multipler keeps dropping down under load. I' got no problem booting in at 4,8-5,0 Ghz but as soon as I put it under stress the multipler drops down, I had the same issue with the W3520 on high clocks. Anyone else have the same problem?
Oh, I'm running the 0507 bios.
Does this or the most recent official ASUS BIOS allow a (working!) means to disable turbo throttling completely? Does it work? I no longer have my P6T7 boards in possession and if I ask for them (again) they are going to think I'm off my rocker. ;)
