Oh yeah and does this board resume from S3 well?
hello to all :)
I have just updated my DFI DK X58 + 920 D0 to classified + 950
problem is that it was too hard for me to rich 225 BCLK, what was too easy to do on DK, it was just needed to change VTT core..
first time I thought that it was CPU problem, replace to 920 D0 but the same...
So.. does enyone have the same CPU MB combination here??? and can anyone help with settings?? :)
Classified 790
intel core i7 950
STT PC 12800 7-7-7-24
Some ATI HD 4800 series cards :)
TOPOWER POWERBIRD 1100W PSU
here is my pure settings :)
CPU Vcore - 1.51-1.52
VTT - +250
IOCH - 1.32
here is some test results....

have u tried
setiings
'less'
'less/middle'
and ~ 217 bclk boot with say 106 pcie and then up bclk with eleet?
give more on ioh man and qpi pll, like 1.45, 1.40v
@ master shamino
is it possible to add better memory overclocking with 2:10 mem multi in classified?
i couldn't run 2200mhz+ on classified with 2:10 whatever voltage i choose in vtt & vdimm.
in bloodrage i could run my mems at almost 2300mhz cas8.
i don't have money to buy good mems that's why i want better memory overclocking in 2:10 mem multi :)
thanks in advance!
yes I have tryed till 1.5 on IOCH but the same...
I was booting on 218 BCLK and after using eleet... max was 230 BCLK on 23 multy, afte crush....
so I am looking for more stable settings... I am shure that for validation 5.5 is possible and 5.45 for PI...
important is that my chip can boot on -107 ant has no any bug on -113..
all this test ebove is under LN2....
1.45 vcore
1.675 IOH/ICH I/O
1.45 ICH Vcore 1.05
1.45 QPI PLL 1.1
1.8 IOH PLL vcore 1.8
1.8
1.45 IOH Vcore 1.1
1.375 CPU VTT
1.7 DRAM
I'm still trying to figure this board out because I get better runs @ 4.9GHz than I do at 5GHz same voltages

QPI compensation have to set to "LESS"
pay attention to these voltages:
CPU VTT
QPI PLL voltage
IOH Voltage
IOH/ICH I/O Voltage
They will help you to achieve higher bclk. I can't say the exact figures, Because I have try 5pcs+ 920, 2 Xeon W3540, they are all different to these voltages~ ;)
BTW, what are your rams? Is it the ram holding the bclk? Some ram may do worse when using 2:8!
Have u tried lower multiplier and 220+ BCLK to elimante the cpu just not liking 23 or not capable of over 5GHz. Also you will need to increase skews. I need 300-500ps past 4.8Ghz on 920. Most of us boot @ 220BCLK. I did so even on a crappy X3540. I have cpu Impedance set to less and QPI compensation set to auto. I set VTT PWM Frequency & CPU PWM Frequency to 610 & 1200KHz
Posted this over in EVGA forums...
Been playing with some new WC lately and managed to get a nice setup going in my Antec 900. The two MCR320's from Swiftech are stacked sandwiching 3x3K RPM Ultra Kaze fans sucking air into the case from the front. Two DDC 3.2s in series are pushing the water around. Tubing is all 1/2" ID 3/4" OD Norprene (Tygon) tubing, and BP Black Sparkle fittings all around. Here are two pics of the setup...

And here is the new 24/7 OC...21x212MHz (4.445GHz effective) HyperThreading On with Uncore at just over 4GHz and 1600MHz Corsair Dominator DRAM running at roughly 1690MHz OC using 7-8-7-17-59-1T timings and tighter DRAM Ratio (MCH Strap setting) subtimings. Ambient temperatures are 27C and fans for this run were at 55%.

Some cache and memory benchmarks...not bad for ~1690MHz DRAM ;)

And here is a 3DMark06 run using 4.5GHz clock, HT on, 2xHD4850 in CrossFireX clocked at 700/1175 on Vista x64 SP2...

Here is my issue, when i have all these cards plugged in, the board runs my top slot pci-e at 8x, so i can only have 3 cards in at the same time, if i have the x-fi at the top, gtx 295 in the proper 16x slots, it runs both slots at 16/16x, but if i have the xeno plugged in to the pci-e slot right under the 1st 16x slot, it takes down my slot to 8x, even tho xeno is only using 1x lane, is there any way to run the xeno as well as the x-fi and still have the gtx 295's running at 16x. Any help is appreciated. Below is a graph so you can see where i have the cards plugged in, thanks in advance.

simple, just pull out th NIC card .:p:
This is a very silly question, but I would like to know your opinions.
Im oing to buy my first 1366 motheroard, I the ones I like the most were DFI UT X58 and this one, the Classified monster jaja.
Well My doubt its simple, and silly may be. With the sata3 behind the door<and also usb 3.0, does evga said someting about any upgrade or so for this mot, because<I dont know how convinient would be now buy a 500+uss motherboard where Im when it has their days in countdown... what you think?
Please... dont hit me:p
:slap:
It is a very good board. Current hardware does not even saturate sata3 and usb 3.0 is not adopted by anyone yet in the production sense. Hence, you are wasting your time worrying about that. This board will long be obsolete anyway before either something better than sata3 is needed or usb 3.0 is "the" standard.

You wanted someone with real stability - here I am ;)
More than 16h of Prime 64Bit using 5.5GB of RAM. It's rocksolid. Never seen a DFI doing that, mate! :D
@superhardware : what your Bacth i7 950 ? look your chip very promising can run 5ghz on 3D vantage...any way nice result you get that bro..keep pushing....:up:
I think I may have messed up my Classified, and I think Matt (rdrash) screwed his up the same way last week. Both of us experienced almost the exact same symptoms...very short into a benching session (less than 5 min for me), the system locked up during a wPrime32M run. The board has not booted since...all I get is FF post code.
Matt's experience was almost identical...within about 10 minutes of his session, he locked up during a wPrime32M run, and he has mot posted with the board since. He is also only able to get a FF post code.
I was very curious about this strange situation, and I started looking for similarities in our setup. Both of us were running on LN2, and both of us were running wPrime32M. Both of us were running Elpida Hyper mem (6GB for Matt, 3GB for me). I was running a W3580 ES, he was running a i7 960 ES.
Then something caught my eye...both of use were using two high amperage 60x38mm fans to cool our mem...both of use were running them off the mobo's headers. I was running Deltas rated at 1.2A...his stuff is not accessible right now, so we have not been able to verify his...but I'm pretty sure they are similar to mine.
So I was looking at this thread on the eVGA forums:
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100563466
and noticed the OP says that the max current draw for each header is 1.0-1.2A Looks like that may have been the problem for both of us.
So my questions are:
Do you think this is the cause of the problem?
And, is there a way I fix it?
Thanks :)
pro was getting FF a bit but it goes back up. one session it wouldnt but it started working next day so that was good i guess heh
my FF would is not a problem cause a powerdown and powerup gets it going again
hope you sort it out mate  and get some adapters for those fans to run off the PSU direct :p::p:
