That link works for the PC that I run the mark with.
Does not for another one:confused:
Using the free version,let me know if the link isn't working for you and
I'll run another one (preferable the same day you're going to update:p:)
@Hondaguy
The link says your 9850 is rejected,better then my dead one anyway
Quick update, new CPU....
125W 9950BE (JAAAB AA 0833 CPBW)
Phenom 9950BE @ 3100Mhz
HT @ 2000Mhz
NB @ 2400Mhz

SM 2.0 Score 6119
SM 3.0 Score 8240

Still nowhere near you 18K plus guys.... I'm still wating for my M3A79-T which I hope will boost the 9950BE a bit..... on this SB600 M3A32-MVP even the new 9950 will only do 3.1Ghz stable....
If anyone has any tips on BIOS settings to try with the 125W 9950, and M3A32-MVP, I'd love to hear them.... current settings are:
CPU Multi: x15.5
CPU Freq: 200
NB/CPU Multi: x12
NB Freq: 2.4Ghz
RAM: DDR2-1066 Unganged
CPU Voltage: 1.45v
CPU/NB Voltage: 1.45v
RAM Voltage: 2.1v
CPU VDDA: 2.8v
CPU Tweak: Enabled
Go into the BIOS and under the Adv.tab and then down to Chipset . Make sure your running the cards in the blue slots. Under port 2 which is your top GPU under Gen2 High Speed Mode, changed that to Autonomous Switch then down to Slot Power limit changed that to 200-225(goTVoltage had it to 255) on Air. Link Width to 16x... Do the same thing to Port 11 which is your other GPU. NExt under Advanced, down to Hyper Transport.Isochronous Flow-Control- Enable that....Try that and do another test
Hi HG..
I've got the PCI-E slots configured OK...
Got them set at Autonoymous and x16 Link Width, havn't changed the Slot Power though its still at default 75W.... when I tried increasing this before, PC would fail to POST....
I'll give that and the HT suggestin a try now and let you know what happens...
Thanks
@ Kazgirl -I really do recomend benchmarking under xp32. Using Vista (esp X64) seemd to be losing a fair amount in the CPU score although i have noticed mnor changes (improvement) in SM3 on Vista X64.
What Gener_AL said
64 bit OSes need more power to run
the most I've been able to get my 9950 to run Vista Ulimate 64bit was @3.250 with 1.55 vcore
WinXP and Vista Home Premium 32bit I can do 3.440@1.55v GHz no problem
Also increasing your PCI-E speed will give you a boost to 3DMark score
I run mine at 119 MHz
Either increase the PCIE Frequency or enable Auto Express and then back it down with AOD
For me, if I did both ,things became unstable.
Hi HG..
Well I tried the HT Flow setting and the Slot Power changes.... it did POST this time, but after 3 runs of 3DM06 all 3 showed a drop in performance with an average 1018 lower 3dmark score.... thanks for the suggestion though..!!
Hi Gener_AL
Thanks for the tip, I could use 32-bit but I use (2 x 2GB) 4GB of RAM, so use 64-bit OS for this reason.... I know that it will yield lower OC in general. But I'll keep it in mind....
Hi AMDDeathstar..
Thanks for the suggestions on that as well, I have already got Auto Express enabled, and my PCI-E runs at 124Mhz as a result, I've tried it enabled and disabled with manually adjusted PCI-E speeds, but the best result seems to be with Auto Express enabled... I also have CPU Tweak enabled.
The 9950BE does boot to Vista at 3.2Ghz and even at 3.3Ghz but fails to even complete a single run of 3Dmark Vantage / 3DMark06... and proves to be unstable.... I was hoping for better than this, but maybe the new SB750 mobo will help when it arrives, which I'm hoping will be today or tomorrow...!!
The highest I can get stable enough to complete 3DMark on the SB600 is 3.1Ghz, I've tried increasing the CPU Voltage and CPU/NB Voltage up as high as 1.5v but still nothing....
Thanks for the tips guys its appreciated...!!
Hey No problem Kazgirl, just with my machine if my NB@2400 I can boot into windows and be stable....But the Hyper Transport.Isochronous Flow-Control, I need to have it Enabled in order to boot the NB@2600 and also the HT@2600, If I dont have it enabled it just wont boot. Try overclocking with the CPU tweak OFF at first,, you can enable it after in windows by the red dot in AOD...Just looking at your sig, I see your running bios 1202,Update it and see if you can Overclock it more, I dont think 1202 is stable.ALso you might have to turn down your PCIE, I see you have it at 124, IN Bios leave it on Auto, then you should be able to OC the NB and HT more, I find anything over the 115, its not stable or even just wont boot

I will push my card a bit and tweak new Phenom a little ;) (maybe opening a window during cold British night will help as well :p:)
All that will need to wait till Thursday unfortunately :( --> WORK
So keep pushing! You've got 2 days to improve :D

Nice giong guys :yepp:
Maybe its just me, but am I missing something with my HD3870? Its clocked @ 877\2.5GHz with DNA 8.8, CPU @ 3.4GHz 380FSB, memory @ 1216MHz, yet 3DMark06 only returns a score of 11,701. I would of thought somewhere between 12,500-13,000 would be more like it :shrug:
Ok that is it, I making making a final run for the top spot. I am going to give it everything I got. Be afraid, be very afraid......I am very scared. I just know something is going to melt..... :D
@Jawin:
Great run!!
I know you're saving higher card clocks for near future :p: 18.5K by any chance??
@Ket:
Maybe it's Vista?? Have you tried XP??
@Ben_Brown
:shocked:
Can't wait!!
Well Im breaking 13,200 with a HD2900XT (512bit bus)..........with lower clocks on the gpu, gpu memory and the cpu than you......sooo:shrug:
also 16,xxx for crossfire 4850's seems very low to me compared with my card, 17,000 to 18,000 would be what I would have expected, and with crossfire 4870 giving 20,000-21,000 :shrug:
TBH it's wired, but once I had corrupted XP Pro x64 is such a way that my 3DMark scores were like 25% down but CPU intense applications were working fine. That happened after some update either to Windows or to GFX driver. I've reinstall OS and everything went back to normal.
