Changing only the Extra V to 1.22 gave me 802mhz on the core,unmodded with water cooling.
are you sure that the real vcore it's 1,22v ?? :(
Me i can put the vcore what i want the vcore stay at 1,1v :(
Can somebody try the attached bios an measure core voltage?
It gave me a little higher voltage as the 1,1V setting.
Don't wonder that there is no entry for extra in exact mode. ;)
Stock GT clocks and looser timings from an EVGA SSC card with 1000MHz mem.

ok so every single game i have tried for about an hour works with my memory at 1000 except Pro Evolution Soccer 2008........here is a list of games i have tried...........Crysis, COD2, Hellgate, NFS Pro Street, TF2, CSS, Quake Wars ET......all work fine with memory at 1000, except PES 2008, hmmmmmmm could someone test this game with mem at 1000?

Just measured the voltages ( vGPU ) at my Gainward ( stock bios ).
Idle : 1.11v
Load : 1.14v .
So.. for me this mod is useless?

I might also have reached the limit of my GPU in that case. But I'm in Malaysia and ambiant temperature is quite hot here. I'm hoping that with better cooling, I'll improve my OC results. But it is difficult to find a nice cooler here. The only one I can find is the Zalman 900 fatal1ty and there is no way I put anything in my rig written fatal1ty on it :ROTF:Quote:

I'm a bit behind the times on what bios will be best for me. I got an EVGA 8800GT regular the 3rd day after release at Frys (real retail store even!). My god what were my original clocks, hehe. Anyway, I'm already at this point with my OC. Is it worth trying to flash?
8800GT 512 Evga 721/1802/958
HR03GT (120mm on low) 40C Idle 53C 3D Mark 06, no arties, all is smooth.
And there are so many bios versions floating around on this thread, if one is for me please let me know, thanks.
Also, would love to see a summary of this thread and a sticky, this is a huge subject with so many peeps getting the 8800GT. Glad I got mine, got lucky getting mine.
Anybody tried flashing their 8800GT with a 8800GTS bios?
Do you think its possible to enable the extra shader units or is it impossible using software?
Here in europe it's the died for find an HR03GT :(
I tried along with few others. The flash works but there is a problem with the drivers. First I had to modify the .inf file to install them and then it crashes as soon as I start ATItool. I checked with rivatuner and although it said 8800 GTS 512, it stated only 112 SP :(Quote:
