The revision of the Motherboard you are thinking of is EVGA 680i A1 which I have!
Max FSB for me on the EVGA 680i A1 is an unstable 400 fsb with a QX6700 and bios 30... bios 28 wasnt any better...
Max for me on P5K Deluxe is high 400's...
FYI my B3 week 21 Q6600 is 4230 with an FSB of 470 ;)
I have a Q6600 G0 coming from Tank Guys so we will see whats what, personall I think its the board though.
Q6600 are showing impressive results.
and now:
what is PAKE DATE on the BOX OF Q6600 GO? 100%
what is PAKE DATE on the BOX OF Q6600 B3? 100%
I'll check when I get home but it was from Tiger Direct and was a week 21 with a B3 testing if that is your question.
FOR EXAMPLE :
7/12/2007 IS G0
7/10/2007 IS B3
Is it truth?

Ok a little better still not happy though:

** second real attempt! Found a bad piece of memory :)
**In the bios, I cant even go a little higher to see what I can do, my temps are fine, considering this pic is 4x100% large ffts.... but the next vcore is 1.8 :(
I tried going higher in the fsb, but it wont last 2 minutes in windows, heh.
Oh well, 3.7 is alot better then 3.4

Hey Kakarot!!! Vive la RFD!!! :p:
Nice work with the G0. I just got mine (L724A) and re-looping my WC rig and ready to give 'er hell. Should have some results by tomorrow night.
I will have the G0 on a HE 120.3, DDC-2, MC-res, Fusion loop with the 8800GTX and 680i NB/SB on a EK block, dual MCW 30's, PA 120.2 , DDC-2, T-Line loop. Hope it can get some good results :)
Ugh, which 680i board? I'm so annoyed at mines.
So far 3.6Ghz 1.42 Vcore real on the EVGA 680i (P30). Getting fairly good temps with core 1 being the hottest with loads of 46-47c reported in Everest and lowest being core 3 at 40c loaded.
I am pretty optomistic this chips is great, hope the board can keep up.
More to come :D
Edit :Noticed temps rising very quickly and looks like I need more powerful fans on my HE 120.3. Was fine with YL's on it with my E6400 but doenst look like they have what it takes for a quad. Put a floor fan and pointed it at the Rad and temps are back to normal. I am now priming at 1.4Vcore and good for 20 minutes at 3.6.
Will let it go for a few more and crank it up more.
@ Turtle, the chip you have, Exact Stepping?
I got a L724A639..
Great chip, doing 3.6 @ 1.41vCore, Prime stable 11 hours.
3.7 @ 1.43-1.44, and mostly 3.8 @ 1.46, but my board vDroops a lot, so waiting for my IP-35 Pro, which Ill droop mod.

It is with crazy volts, but then again I havent really tried to lower them. I ran Prime 25.2 for about 20 minutes and temps were getting rather high so I quit. The were getting above 65 on water
This chip is crazy good!!!
turletrax is that evga board stock or did you do any mods and what bios are you using also what nb/sb cooling?
Board is bone stock, but is WC'ed on NB/SB. Looks like I have found max FSB with 9x at 444. Still have to do some testing but I cant get into windows above 4002Mhz, but can run all the benchies I need. Odd to say the least. Perhaps it is another FSB hole...
Nice turtle.
Now you need to get 4 Ghz stable on water. :D
I think it is stable but it gets too hot. I need some ultra-high CFM fans or wait for winter here in Canada ;)
I ran Prime 25.2 for 20 minutes or so and it was getting over 65c and climbing. I think I need to get rid of the HE for a PA. Anyhow, I have allot of tweaking left to do.
