Well, looks like im not the only one with that prob :D It's a luck then that i didn't re-mounted right away. I won't do it now. Thanks for the inputs guys!

Anyone else think the 2x coretemp1, 2x coretemp2 unevenness could be attributed to voltage/current imbalance within the chip?
my b3 idle @ 3.2, 1.46v, silent air cooling:
cpu: 32c
core0: 50c
core1: 48c
core2: 43c
core3: 45c
my coolest core was usually also the first to fail when I was close to getting it 8hr+ prime stable at higher clocks (up to 3700)
Hell yeah, thats a great voltage\clock combo! I don't think ill lap that Q6600. Temps are kinda great except for that 5c-6c difference...

It's nothing like stressing with Small FFTs on Orthos but still, those are great temps, i think.
Okay, my mobo finally showed up today.
I'm priming away right now at 3.6Ghz @ 1.42v. (I probably can go lower.)
temps
max temps I've seen so far: 58-58-54-54
G0 from ClubIT 8x450FSB
P5K Premium mobo
PDP DDR2-667 D9 @ 450FSB
This mobo is much more complicated than my old P5W DH.
So many more voltage and mem options, I don't know what to do with them all. It will take me awhile to get used to it all and find a good 24/7 OC.
So far, I'm happy with my goal of getting 3.6Ghz with this volt and temp... :)

Problem is one of the cores.
Core 0, 1 and 3 can do 3450.. but core 2 fails miserably.
I think this has something to do with the vdroop.
This core is also noticeably colder than the other three so i think with a vdroop-mod it could get stable on that speed.
Im running on air so i will not push it too far though, temps runs up to 65 on the cores on 3360 Mhz after 7 hours orthos on the 3 "good" cores.
Maybe i will have to step it up a notch and invest in watercooling.. we'll see:)
My Quad 6600 can go pass over 395x9, My mobo is P5WDH, i want to ask, what is temp maks this quad? (maybe 80 for core and 60 for cpu, if pass then this proc can restart ar burn maybe? )
Sori my english is not very good.

and i think 975x can go pass over FSB 400 because latency always more than 965P and P35, (Like DR1 and2) DDR1 can go over 300Mhz but can beat DDR2

Maybe you can try yourself with another P35 Mobo , or make compare with N 680i with 975x , and uploading to this forum
Andinobi your P5W will prolly be limited to 400 region mate, because it has tighter latencies on the memory controller, every board /chipset has it's sweetspot...
If you run the same speeds on the P5K so 9 x 400 you will be on par performance with P5W, this again proves that some high FSB and mega ram overclocks aren't always better (it might help in some benchmarks...) ...due to strap changes and co...
Here's my latest...
Thankfully I have good cooling because the Vcore required for Prime stability is Xtreme (1.6V idle drooping to 1.55V load)!
Processor is a B3 X3220 at 400x9 (3.6GHz) on a DFI 680i board (other info in my sig)...

my 24/7 oc:
Q6600 B3 L645G523
3.4ghz (425x8 1.44v)
Evga 680i NF68-A1(570)
Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme
10+ hour p95 large fft, 11+ hour p95 small fft stable, 23 hour xvid DEcode loop
before I RMA'd this mobo it was fully stable except xvid would lock, now it's all good :D

Why are there 2 database threads?
Hi guys. I will add my results to the database thread once i'm happy i have my system stable. Just a quick question though and that is how much confidence should i have that my Everest and coretemp temps shown here under load are acurate. They seem very low espeacially considering i am only air cooling?
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...2006/temsp.jpg
3.7 and only 1.2875v? And temps in the region of 45-50C? Even for a G0, that's really low. Especially for aircooling. Somehow I don't trust these results.
Did you really set the Vcore on 1.2875? That would be exceptionally low when running at 3.7
1.2875 is the VID, tested recommended minimum voltage for stock settings, not his actual vcore ;). I guessing his real vcore is somewhere around ~1.47v-1.50v. Nice overclock btw cliffy
@post below: *wants to get a G0 now :(. Looks at his own 1.485vcore :shakes: ... *
Hey Cliffy that's a sweet clock.
Temps don't seem abnormal since that screenshot is showing prime has only been running a few seconds. Check the max temp by running small FFT's. You should see peak temp after about 10-15 minutes.
With the temps people are achieving with the T120 extreme i'm kinda kickin myself in the ass for being a cheapo and buying the Scythe infinity instead. Not only is the thermalright 120 extreme smaller and lighter but it cools much better it seems. You live and you learn.
My Result for the Database:
- dertimaushh - 3.807ghz - 1.50v - Gigabyte P35-DQ6 - P95 Stable (G0) - aircooled with normal abient temps

Got my Go today, priming at 3,6 1,4v set in bios. Speedfan says 1,36v but so far its stabel. Its an L726B, vid 1,23v.

Hi all..
Need an advice here...i'm running my q6600 with msi 975 Power up but have a problem ..COULDN'T RESTART FROM WINDOWS...here my stats :
1. Reaching 370 x 9 with divider 1:1.25 stable at orthos 12 hours, passed the cinebench smoothly, passed super PI 32m but couldn't restart from windows..after windows shut down and the computer no respons..not boot at all..need to be turn off then turn on again and the comp working normally..
2. Reaching 390 x 9 with divider 1:1 stable as stat no 1 and...again couldn't restart same as no. 1
Have trying :
1. raising the all voltage ..no effect..
2. loosing the mem timing..no effect...
Do i miss something here or just hardware limitation..? hoping to reach 400 x 9 and stable....thanx in advance all...o yes..the stable i could get 360 x 9 wuth divider 1:1.25..meaning no error at all test..

Hey, I'm new to this forum, and signed up 'cause I have this problem that really bothers me when OCing.
My processor is an adequately cooled G0. Thing is, It runs at any speed I set it to, even 4ghz at 1.58v, but it's never stable after a certain time. I'm currently running it at 3.4ghz at 1.42v, but I'd like to do 3.6. One thing that you guys can help me with is provide me with a link, or tell me what certain features do.
I have in my p5k-e bios the option to disable certain features under "CPU settings" like Vanderpool, and the rest.
Also, do I need to lock my FSB at 333, or put more voltage through the north bridge/southbridge?
Some help would be much appreciated. thx.
