All I know is this. Look at the post screen.

Just a suicide shot. This is where my 6600 seems to throw the towel in. Vcore 1.8V in BIOS.

This board is hell for ram overclocking, i've never seen my Supertalent so happy :)

I should get my Commando tomorrow, so I can hardly wait for the 0702 BIOS, I've searched the net for an hour to no avail.

Yeah man I'm dieing for a new bios here too. The board clocks great, but it doesn't recover well from a failed overclock at all, i just hope it's something a bios can fix. If anyone gets one do post it or PM me please. :)

Still no answer to this extremely important question. :(

It may be the most overclockable board ever produced, glad you're having fun, guys ;) , but it's useless as a long-term upgrade for most people if ASUS have only left PCI expansion possibility by making the second PCIe slot graphics-only. Can anyone with the board please confirm whether the slot works with other PCIe devices? Or is it a hybrid dinosaur, looking to a bright future but stuck in the past with no way to expand with newer hardware?

I have just ordered a Comando and was searching for a users thread. My search brought me here. You all are way ahead of me in how to OC so I expect I will be comming here often.
As I said I saw the Comando at CES and had a chance to talk with the ASUS tecs. I especially like the solid caps and since I am not planing on more than ove Vid card this looked like a good choice, especially with all the 680i issues and suply problems with the Striker.
Here is my planed rig, I have most of the parts except the Mobo and GPU which I should have by Thursday.

Commando (on order)
QX6700
BFG 1000Wt PSU
BFG 8800GTX OC (on order)
TtArmor (air cool)
Zalman 9500
2 Gb Corsair Dom PC28500 CAS5
150 Gb Raptors for Raid-0 for OS and apps
2 more 35 Gb raptors in non Raid one for pictures and audio files and one for client files
I have not decided on adding a sound card yet but I will Prob. get an X-Fi instead of the on board sound
Plextor optical drives (IDE)

I want to OC but not to the extreme until I get my feet wet. After that I want to get the most I can while maintaining good stability.What would you suggest I set key settings at to start? Any basic flaws in what I have so far?

So what's the story with you guys that ordered from ewiz. Have any shipped?

and I thought going commando meant not wearing any underpants.....

That bug is not related to 0702 bios. I have that bug using the 0601... it's when you change the FSB Strap but you don't touch the FSB, then save & exit and voilá... (it's that if I remember correctly, I don't have the mobo running right now, but that happened to me, i''m sure).

Can anyone post a changelog for 702 BIOS please? Thanks
