Also the cooling is different. Only the northbrige is connected to the heatpipe. This makes me curious though because if a fan is added to your northbridge then it will be cooled separately from the southbridge and they will not exchange heat across the same pipe. I feel this could improve clocking on this board since they are not exchanging heat across the same pipe, but one would have to think the Max board is designed to overclock better considering the capacitors and all.
