If your not running Crossfire or SLI is there any need for 2 16x PCI slots? Sorry for the seemingly stupid question, but i haven't upgraded recently and am still on AGP and PCI.Quote:

The SLI or Crossfire solution would be ideal if Nvidia or ATI had taken at least 2 or 3 years to develop a brand new card, every year they launch a new card so the new top one will outperform 2 on SLi from the last generation, also with features never seen supporting many things. That always happen.
I will buy The DFI because I really like the way they make Motherboards.
Other thing to note is SLI or Crossfire can get the way through with higher resolutions, specially if your monitor can achieve up to 1920 X 1200 like my case :)
nope. I only intend to run a single vga card and if I wanted dual card action I would have gone 975xQuote:

you guys are saying there is only 2.2v so its not enough to let the ram run as high as people are doing. 1000+ 3-4-3-x
but does the HZ work ok ?

thanks for any help

thanks aiya, think I may go with that too. I am moving from an opteron 165 @ 2.8ghz also :) edit: found this post with someone asking about speeds with conroe for this memory http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/....php?p=1561544
I'd suggest the Team Group 2gb DDR2-677 C3 from Tank Guys. I've been running them perfectly stable at DDR2-940 4-4-4-8 with 2.1v on my P5W DH and E6600 Awesome ram for $187.

If you like layouts that look like a buncha monkeys put it together, then get the AB9 :). It could be a good performer, who knows, I just don't like the layout.
Anandtech got the AB9 pro to 4.7 Ghz using a PD 805. That proves the board has a good VRM and nice circuitry. But I still need to see a review. Damn it, I just can't friggin decide what to buy....:slapass: :slapass:
Yup, ordered 4GB worth last week. Solid ram for sure.Quote:
