The great thing about Dabs is their returns proceedure and everything as well as the ability to customise the order right until it is processed for packing. And I don't believe they take money until it is in stock and ready to be shipped. I put in an order on Saturday because of the price but I might cancel it. This is getting seriously annoying, I've had a pre-order on the 6600 on ocuk since 22 June and may not get it until 21st aug?? :banana::banana::banana::banana: off tbh! If ocuk turn out not to be the first UK stockist I'm gonna be so :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing pissed off. No way will I even think about ordering from them ever again.
I find it hard to believe they only found out about this on the 24th. It's just not how things work...
Hey lawry - get it from Dabs - I believe they use the same supplier as OcUK and it will save you nigh on £40.

Nah I didn't leave OCuk, I just got busy with other stuff around this time last year after the X2 frenzy died down (at the time, £394 for an X2 4400 :eek:). I couldn't find one that clocked reasonably over 2.5Ghz and so I settled for an old Venice 3000+ at 2.7Ghz instead until I got the Opteron in my sig at the start of this year.
I'll be an OCing newbie again with Conroe since I haven't had Intel desktop CPUs since my old P3-500 + ABit BE6-II back in 1999. I can see that the G.Skill PC2-6400 HZ is the DDR2 ram of choice at the mo but am undecided with the mobo. I know ATI and Nvidia won't be releasing their efforts for a while yet so it's either P5W, DS3 or BX :confused:

I might be Moonraker - one of my Denki's is on the blink. Either a Panaflo 38mm or Denki 38mm will be required to replace it. Panaflo is my weapon of choice because they appear to be ever so slightly quieter.
