ET6 mate no issues running it here

well actualy its good the radiator is separate from case , it being small it has a positive pressure work great but maybe this year ill get bigger

One thing i have noticed with this board is that it will presume a failed overclock after a proper shutdown in Windows XP. It's strange, but everytime i shutdown Windows XP when running my 5527Mhz overclock, upon turning the PC on again, it will reboot a few times and inform me that it has encountered a failed overclock.
It's no biggie and might be there by design, but i'm sure it didn't do this after a proper shutdown of Windows 7...
Anyone else encounter this?
Hey guys, you can use this P67A BIOS template,to post your setting here.
Thanks to C-N.
I am having some serious difficulties overclocking my system..
I am setting the following:
Multi : 45
C1E - Disabled
EIST - Disabled
C3/C6 - Disabled
CPU Thermal monitor - Disabled
Vcore: 1.3 - 1.35
QPI - 1.08 - 1.1
everything else is auto.
As soon as I launch prime I get a complete system lock BSOD and then three reboots and my bios restores to F3.
If I leave all settings on auto and only select the 45 Multi I can get into windows CPU-Z shows 1.26 - 1.28 Vcore but after about an hour of PRIME it failed.
Guys, been hitting a wall with this 4E error on the LED.
Sorry, I dun have any clue as to what this is? Needs more voltage?Quote:
1. Program MTRR of M1 CPU
2. Initialize L2 cache for P6 class CPU & program CPU with proper cacheable range
3. Initialize the APIC for P6 class CPU
4. On MP platform, adjust the cacheable range to smaller one in case the cacheable ranges between each CPU are not identical
@1Day: Sorry, here's the settings I have when I get that error:
This boots up but gets stuck on 4E....

Multi 53 :D
Sorry to say you are not alone with that one. Many of us are at that point with the x54 multi. (or whatever the limit with our personal CPU mulit might be) I have even tried vcore of 1.7volts. Nothing will get it past my limit. Last time it took a bios update to get past the previous.
Sorry mate.
maxxx buddy you are not alone - maybe drop back a multi or two and work with your BCLK settings. I had to do that to get above the wall. Oh and I found F7d to be the BIOS update that allowed me to break the wall of 5.288GHz.
Dont feel bad, 5400mhz is pretty sweet. I am stuck at x52, I may get a 2500k to play with.
@1Day: thanks. I'll have to try it that way. My 1st cpu won't budge after 5.1Ghz, whether its the cpu multi or base clock being change.
@OC_Nub: yeah, just wanted to see if it can go further...
Huge issue, and I'm not sure what the cause is or how to solve it? I've tried 4-5 OS installs (Xp/Vista/Win7), all different and non edited versions, tried installing all .Net, flash/shockwave, java, all windows updates, multiple easytune versions, ect.
No luck with anything!
See my comments about it on this page and the next
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...264003&page=14
I bet there are MANY others with this issue and they just don't know it! I assumed you couldn't change Bclk with easytune because there wasn't a setting there, until I saw someone mention it on another thread.
So I bet plenty of others think the same since it's not there. It can't be my board because I have tried UD4 and UD7.
I was thinking maybe it's my CPU (ES D2), but you have retail, so it has to be something other than CPU's?
I am not sure what to try next, if there is anything left, but I am at a loss and it's driving me crazy!
Maybe us enabling/disabling a certain setting in the BIOS is causing this as an error/glitch? I've seen it before in the past a few times, not sure what setting it would be but I'm thinking about trying to find if this is the cause next.
Does anyone know the SetFSB creator? If so please ask when he will update for P67, thanks!
Before I hit my benching prowness , Im here working on my 24/7 @ 4.8 she runs cool so im tweak her so i can turn ll2 to ll1 and then mess with ram time see what different settings do , she's not golden but she definitely doing great in voltages and temps . Passes 20 LinX most on auto . . . ;)

Not sure what I was doing wrong before but just enabled LLC Level 1 and used 1.3Vcore and tried x44 with DDR1866 and here is the result so far. I am more interested right now in finding stable 24/7 oc's and then ill stress the system.
Here is a pic:

and here is the system :P I ordered an extended crossfire cable to try and keep my graphic card temps down.

I would take down blck like already said, or i would check your temperatures. When i had a clodbug problem that was my stop code. That can also indicate not enough vcore, or cpu pll not right(increase/decrease) you might need to increase cpupll try 1.89 first. Also i know this applies to the UD4 you need to use turbo mode and enable tdp and tdc to 300, idk if you have to do this on the UD&, I am going to test it would, but on other boards it seems to keep back max oc.
Hey, total noob here with Intel systems, but my friend has this board, and every overclock he tries only applies to Turbo mode, while it clocks down during idle. We wanted to disable underclocking for testing, so we disabled Turboboost and EIST. Is it possible to keep the clockspeed at a constant setting?
