First test with G.Skill kit under subzero . Seems nice so far . :)
Any of you running at 2800Mhz 7-11-7 ???? I'm capable of 4 loops so far , but i'm sure i'll be able to make it complete . Perhaps not with this board as it also feels to me there are some issues .... So , i have a UP5 and UP7 here . I guess i'll choose the UP5 for my next runs . I don't have any BBSE so it's my best option .
PS . Where are pro's scores at 1400CL7 ??? I can't find them .
I have serious doubts you will reach 2800 on up7 as there lots of guys not capable of hitting 2666 on that board...U can try Up5 and Asrock OC formula, see what works best...but i would start with asrock first :)
UP5 has been a blast for me... too bad it got bricked...
slight better mem oc compared to maximus gene and extreme and to be honest better efficiency...
The leader board begs to differ;)
In all honesty though the UP5 seems to be the best of the Giga boards for PSC while most all of them seem to do well with BBSE, however the UD4H was looking good this weekend, full bank 2800 c9 32M stable with low vccsa and vccio on the Samsung based kits.
Yeah im still thinking of getting a UP7 to see how it goes with memory under cold, should have a refill in a week or so ,will keep pushing
@ crusty, you bricked the UP5 while benching memory?
not at all, out of a sudden i get a6(or ab) debug code and cannot get into bios, nothing to do with memory...
double checked everything cpu, with and without vga, mem, psu but nothing can change this...
too bad it has been a great overall board
yes both bioses do the exact same thing
UP7 might run better now with the new think its f6... bios over on TT
If anyone tests it please let me know or post in the UP7 thread what you find, sorry I don't have time to rig up & test atm.
Tested some 2133 8-9-8 BBSE and they are very nice, only 1.87v on air

^^^^ I spy a very nice looking 3570K as well
interested to see those frozen l0ud :)
First post updated.
will be very helpful if you can bold ICs or we all move to other thread importing this thread :D with IC categories
A lot of job Allen * ?
That will be a lot of work... :D
Maybe I'll make all the ICs bold tomorrow.
By the way I couldn't add your scores from post #1366, please resubmit if you want me to add them. :)
Nice thanks for the time

Still implement this rule?
I saw some scores exceeded this limit.Quote:

5ghz +/- 3mhz
Screen shot just for info if anyone's interested.
After seeing Alex-Ro's post I thought I'd have another look at 2860 10.12.12 to see if I could match 2800 9.12.12. Looks like with a little more tweaking 2860 10.12.12 could run shoulder to shoulder with 2800 9.12.12 using a fair bit less voltage. I killed the bios after this shot recovered it then killed windows so that's it for now.
20oC ambient in a case.

More volts than I wanted to push through these sticks that I'm supposed to be saving for Haswell but hay ho it was worth it.......

Crap,i remember i tested my samsungs and passed couple of loops at 2933 9-12-12 at 2v+ with -5 ambient,i might switch mobo to feel my wrath.....:D Joking aside, great run :)
Thanks mate it was good fun
I'm sure there's a little bit more left in 2860 C9 sub 18 should be doable but for me that's enough. I'm not even going to attempt 2933 but by the sounds of it you are real close.
He he if you feel the wrath maybe try 104.17 x 48 that'll get you 5G & 2917 ish & you can work from there if your sticks don't melt first :D
Awesome run C-N:up:
Next stop is sub 18 with samsung:D
Really nice work C-N and Alex-Ro,
Hey guys,I thought since im starting to use this forum more now and some nice people on here its about time I paid my subscription,I am Extreme :yepp:
I look forward to posting and viewing plenty more results
Bull
 5G Haswell at least 6s less, did not think about that range.
:yepp:
Woohoo,maybe sub 6 mins :D
Guys, quick question...got 4x2gb psc good for 2400mhz and 2600mhz with decent timings under 1.85v. Which should I run to benefit from that config? XP should do better, but it's only 32bit (xp 64 was a mess from what I gather)
Thanks! :p
xp32 you use maxmem anyway ;)
Yeah...figured so, but the whole 4x2gb thing still confuses me lol xD
with 32 bit still every stick is used, but memory is limited. anyway as alex said, you use maxmem limitation and spi does not need that much memory ;)
Yeah...it's an interesting art form, superpi 32m tweaking that is.
I got microxp atm, gonna try a few different oses and tweaks before submitting anything.
Doubt I can do any better than the top scores though :p

Can you try to run 5ghz +/- 3mhz?
I think we should allow 5000 +-5 mhz.One reason,100 mhz in 32M equals 6 seconds on ivy at this freq level,so 2 mhz would mean 0.012 sec, plus it's all about the clock divider on mobo's,which variates between 5002.9-5004.
Just my 0.02$

Indeed,congrats!
Nice work C-N,some awesome results on air and Gigabyte UD5H
That would be sweet :p
Wow you guys are still going strong with this. I should improve my time, got a lot of high bin samsung and some new PSC ram to test.
edit: faster time at #1462
Wow I still got a lot to learn it seems. No way I can do sub 20  Here my best run with some mediocre PSC. What they lack in quality I make up for with volt and cooling :D Running twcl 7 here with.. ehm... 2,1 volts.

I need cold air to get any decent sub zero temps on ram, TEC is only able to get ~ 20 C below water temp. I've seen -21 but then it was freezing in here :shakes:
Yes the TEC (Corsair ICE T30) is cooled by a 240 rad placed on the side of the dimastech table. 240 is overkill, heat load in magnitude of 100-130W but well, it works good. H70 only for cpu. Would be cool to mod the TEC into a H70 for very simple and easy to handle TEC cooling though :D
I will try on 1300+ cl8 today, I think it's faster.
Hey Calathea, will those Dims not run @ 26 memory Multi? With the right vtt, imc volts combo this may help you,the other thing you can disable HT,I like your setup
Hi bullant. Yes they will run 26 multi. I'm just a little old school, I'd run cl6 if I could :D 2600 7-12-7 is a no go with this temp and sticks so will see how they perform on cl8.

Finally you made it sub 20! Congrats!
I'll make an update on Sunday.
Still cant thank you yet, must need 100 post? but thank you Don Dan the old fashion way for keeping thread updated
Thanks! 1300 trrsr 4 is possible but seemed a little bit slower than 1327 trrsr 5. I think with these mems I'm pretty much done. Should try some 4x4 Dom Platinum 2666 C10 now.
Thanks Don_Dan. Keep up your good work updating this.

Thanks for the offer Don_Dan,at this stage I wouldn't have time to really help a team out on points and stuff with work commitments, but really appreciate the offer and would definitely consider it when I feel i can contribute too a team
Hi,
some little test ram on cold,Trident 2000 Cl9 PSC (XDX)
http://www.abload.de/thumb/tridentpsc1300797gyzoc.jpg
Nice memory, you should get about 4 seconds lower with proper tweaks i think...
natu, nice ramz for sure, but no waza on this run?
only for test all my psc on LN? for some good 32m was the time to short. And my spi32m ist not the best. The rams can much more tighter as on pic by the secondary timmings.I have not all psc test more to come in the next one or two weeks
the 1400c7 were mixed :p
I know, I know, actually I meant your memory as in natu + angoholic! Sorry for the misleading post! :p:
yes the 1400c7 was great
Finally back up and running, only had quick run tonight will have to install fresh OS and waza. Here is a couple of screen shots they failed but was looking better then my best time

haha "loop 20 passed, yes it's stable!" then BAM not convergent in sqr :shakes: I got worse time with cas 7 twcl 6 than 7/7 on my PSC, what's up with that?
Pretty sick RAM to run that settings
poor bullant XD

Had the same sh** as i ran trcd at the limit. Then you get rewared with freezes at Loop 20 and then maybe "55" Took hours..
Maybe next time
Pretty good day today...
New os,new wazza and maximus extreme at it's best and still aircooled CPU
