Hi shazbom - it's great to see your interest in improving your photography, but it would be better if you start your own thread (there's also a photography section) or PM SSN75 as suggested, so as to keep this thread focused on Malik's work. (that last pic looks good!).
uhh, it should be maam. She's a woman XD
Yes, i used this size of tubes ;)
Malik, does the tygon tubing on your builds get cloudy after some weeks?
That last pic quoted by tsawana is just incredible. You achieve some preety beautifull color combinations!
This guy is crazy ;) ( i mean Malik ). But thanks for the inspiration for my project.
Regarding projects, great job, very clean, our original colors, and a lot of interesting photos.
Guys i have problem ... i don't know what is the best :)
1. Stay with TRI SLI with GTX 280 EVGA
2. Asus 5870 Crossfire
3. GTX 480 ... sli ?
4. Wait for new revision of gtx 480
I'll stay with No. 2.
msi 5870 lighting crossfire
soo ATI wins ? :)
I'd say go ATI ;).
I'd vote for stay with current setup, but that wouldn't be Xtreme :)
Imho it's worth upgrading when bigger performance gains are seen. So it's (4.), if that meant next gen of fermi, which i doubt to see sooner then another year to wait, or dual 5970. (2. less power usage) & (3. psysix support) won't be that much of performance gain from current setup to justify purchase(including new fc waterblocks)/upgrade .. and just for dx11 support it's not worth it imho ..
for now ATI, in the future NV, but not fermi :slapass:
Second option is the best in my opinion. Go for it
ATi FTW !
i'd go for 5870 Xfire... less power consumption but still engouh power compared to the little gain of two 480 in sli...
and cheaper... if that matters ;)
not an NV fanboy by any stretch of the imagination, but GTX480 SLI wins... as long as you can handle the cost and power consumption of the cards. A single 480 isn't terribly impressive but they scale remarkably well in SLI. Better than crossfire by quite a bit.
I see ati is the best option for me :)
When you`ll show as pics of triple SLI inside your case?? Lot of new experience inside next project?
When new PSU arrived ... Antec TruePower Quattro 1200W, and two BP sli connector ;)
I thought 850`s is too "weak" for triple SLI ;) You`re planning to sell it or it (850) stays with this config? I need something more powerful for my new rig
That depends ... i think in two weeks i will be know what stay and what will be out ;)
It`s interesting PSU, there is only one but, it`s not modular :( I like clean cases.
Some cables are modular:

UPDATE:
I forgot about option nr 3 ... GTX 480
Hi, Malik!! I have a question, how to contact Barus? I'm really interested in QPI Ram. You're my inspiration. Thanks.
Go for an ati 5870 crossfire or wait a little bit for 5870 2gb and do a 5870 4gb crossfire :p
I dont like that psu really
Nice camera. Photos will be even better:>. Nikon D90 one of the better cameras in its price class very good choice, but the covenant itself probably buy the cheaper Canon 550D. The new Champion Nikon D3S is a great addition to almost indestructible. Only the price kills ;>.
As for the Cards took me to the ATI is much less heat than the new GF Fermi. I suspect that like to lie down on the fermi could have broken an egg is to fry up nicely ;>
After the event, as the only Metro 2011 and new coming up Battel field uses the new possibilities GF 470/480.
GF 480 in full temp are 90 – 105 Celsius wery nice heater for the winter ;).
I will try it in my project.Nice to see that not only did I want to use the 1200 watt power supply in draft.
Good Luck whit your draft Malik.
I've Got The power ...

Can I get some insight here? I want to go for best quiet cooling at low use to idle mode on a 4.3GHx i7 930 (@ 1.32v) w/ single GTX 260 on Rampage II Extreme. This system sits on my desk so I am interested in quietness a night or during music editing. As long as it cools equal to if not somewhat better then when on air (755c or below) I'm good. I am more interested like I say in the desktop idle temps at low flow. I have XSPC RX240 Dual 120mm Radiator. The box doesnt have space for bigger rad inside but willing to add additional dual externally to keep it quiet if ned be.
Thankx in advance
hmmm, ain't gonna be easy to sleeve these cables!! but she does look good...
good luck to ya!
Malik, how do you plan on sleeving that beast? Are you going to cut out the capicators and resolder the connectors?
Not beast ... but something like that i will be sleeving:
http://www.abload.de/img/dscf0025gobr.jpg
Malik, it`s loooong one. Wonder how this 80mm fan cooling down the PSU with that power. Lot easier to do sleeving the extensions than sleeving the PSU cords. So, we`re waiting for some photos :D:D:D
Easter party with tri sli ...
http://www.abload.de/img/dsc_0954yps5.jpg
Finally, looks nice, but we want whole photo not only part. Happy Easter to you Malik.
Looks good ! Think about some blue, or white Leds behind the Plexi from the EK GPU Waterblocks :)
That was only for test... after that i decide that tri sli is not so good. Sooo finally i will make 5870 in crossfire with nickel - plexi EK Waterblocks and nickel backplates.
Two 5870's like this soooooon....

Malik,
That tri sli setup was beautiful... can't wait to see how the xfire looks. What fluid were you using... I absolutely love that blue.
can't wait.
This is feser one uv blue ;)
Malik, did you not like the appearance of tri-sli or did you not like the performance? Just curious.
Hmmm:
Pro:
1. that looks awesome :)
2. huge kick in benchmarks
Cons:
1. Heat
2. Place in case
3. Not so good performance in games ( i check with bc2, metro 2033, shift, gta4, dirt2, bioshock 2 )
In all this games FPS was high, for example in bc2 was 180fps but ... i observe microstuttering. That is annoying.
In the end i think... tri sli is good for benchmarks etc.
That's why decide change my cards.

Hey your system is very bright...what are you using white cathodes? :)
Yes, these are white cathodes x 3 ;)
Isint the graphic card on the pic a bit bent?
Aww, man with that ATCS, you just change the color scheme and it remains just as gorgeous and epic! I need money :(
Time for bigger case? hehe, i`m just kidding. Hate this moment when you have big-tower and there is no space for something more. In mine LL there is a problem with mofset cooling. I need about 30 mm space between board and midplate, but there`s any :( so it`s time to cut some alu ;)
This case is awesome, so no need to change. Cutting .. also no needed - for CF is a lot of space ;)
For now ... waiting for new cards:

Sad moment ... goodbye SLI :(
http://www.abload.de/img/sliij36.jpg
It's a shame because they looked damn good in there :(
I was going to suggest 480, lol I am too late to comment on this.
Yes a single 480 could be fine :D
I voted for the tri SLi because I love these EK blocks (I will never change my 280 just for that :D)
Maybe I wil contact you for some informations about your custom backplates ;)
I agree with the Tri-sli Malik, it looks a bit crowded in there.
Awesome as always, Malik. I do prefer Crossfire rather than Tri-SLI because it's to crowded.
Some new toys...

I think the inside might be copper. How about the outside, is it chrome or nickel?
really like the filter... amazing there are not more common on rigs.
Malik: if you have flow monitoring, can you post how much flow is impacted by that water filter?
I recall once reading comparative test of several inline water filters somewhere (filtering capability/waterflow restriction/price), but as i didn't bookmark it then i cannot find it anymore. Google returns different unrelated results. Can anyone point me to it?
Hey malik, sorry if this has already been answered but what UV fans are you using in ur BLUE themed build?
Here you have this fans: LINK

Love the acrylic one.. :D
So 1-0 for blue one ;)
me too - +1 for the acrylic version ! :)
BTW: I hope, that Duniek has the 20 HK 3.0 Acrylic Tops ready to ship very soon - send greetings to him (Group Buy @forumdeluxx.de from whuzabi)
Malik: for whatever that fits with most from your other blocks (i'm guessing that you're extending some existing sys instead of building all anew?)
Hi, great job Malik :) In my opinion, plexi block is better for your LC.
+1 for all-nickel one. Will harmonize with Enzo QPI block ;)
I try plexi and nickel ;)
As always crazy  waiting for moooooore :D
+1 for the plexi.
Malik, I really like the QPI Block. How can I order it?
I love the plexi version :D +1 for him.
I mean this one.
http://img8.abload.de/img/110zt.jpg
The acrylic one seems to fit better it think...
Malik, bottom plate has no internal fin/channel arrangement ? Photo does not give a clue.
This was custom made block by Barus.
bottom plate is flat :D

Malik paint that red :D
Beautiful photos. I'm waiting on LC with 5870 CF ;) Good luck
Guys this is very beta beta version ;)
Malik, can you please FILM your next drain with the pump you use? :D
Oh, that custom made one? It was nice idea :)
No problemo ;)
