Fine then, borg'd the Wife's i3 quad core laptop and added two more virtual cores. My nads are ash if I get caught but I can't say I didn't make the best run at pie I could.

You deserved it! :D
Yeahhhh buddy! A fellow classmate gettin' him some pie!
That's what it's all about. Now lets keep these numbers going fellas :D ... A big contrats to all the folks really turning it up. I know we all are giving it our best! D_A - I feel your pain with borgin computers... My wife's laptop is crunching away and I forbid her to use it at all this week. :D Great work everyone and I look forward to seeing some more #1 pie eating shockers this week :up::up::up::up::up::up:

Get pie. Lose pie. Blinked and I missed it. This is a tough crowd! I will gladly give up pie though to get all those points for the cause!
Thank you all.
As they were doing an extended outage for reworking their network, i bumped the cache and did the same :D
I just took a little longer (like 6 days), and still isn't finished, still some network cables loose on the floor :rofl:
Already waiting for a 3770k for a media server and to join the others on WCG.
Holy SNAP! NOWHERE else could a guy pull 43k BOINC and not even get a SNIFF of pie! :eek:
:rofl::rofl:
I know the feeling... so close yet so far... :(
praying for some pie ..just once :D
and for some reason i have 44 pages of PV :eek::D
Looks like some nice Hardware! I'd love to get my hands on one of those first two rigs... ah, a guy can dream can't he?
I know what you mean... 30K today and I'm #30 on the list... so much for that top 20 list during SC week... Nov/Dec SCW... gotta start planning...

That was awesome !! :)
Ah the ever long chase for some pie. Its one of those twinkles that just gets further away the closer you get to it. I'm only 15k away from pie...but I'm already maxed out except for two Arima boards.
I replaced my CMOS batteries and neither board will light up. I am suspecting the one spare power supply I have may be bad...
I'm at 68 cores now, 26 at home (and spinning the power meter so fast it whistles!) and 42 in the cloud. If I was running Windows (and specifically Silverlight) I could add another core free with the Microsoft Azure cloud. Short of another region going live in the HP cloud before the beta finishes I'm tapped out. If it DOES go live then I get another 20 cores ... and I expect someone else on XS will manage to borg the Jaguar system in case there's a chance I could get a whiff of pie.
