Hope this will help you.
Pushed ram & uncore a little harder for a SPI32M
3.43 GHz | 4049 MHz uncore | DDR3-2025 MHz | 7-8-7-20 1T | B2B = 4

You could trade/buy a NB/SB Bitspower block. The X-Fi will definitely fit then.
Mydog,
It helped a bunch!!! Thanks!!!...I am well on my way to a nice overclock...will be testing more stability tomorrow...The idle and load temps are insanely low with this chip...100% load on LinX never went above 55C on any core! Gotta love those Cinebench scores!

aaaah ;) rampage2 is under water :) but I dont have a slight of an idea where to start ... want about 4,4+ ghz ... i960 ... where would you start? blck 200 with 23x ... just give me some biossettings .... PLEAZ :;) toyz
Very nice, managerman.
Is that just for benching or 24/7? Not sure if 1.4v is a good idea on a 32nm chip...
That's high even for 45nm i7...
anyone know if i can run crossfire in first blue and third white slots
will it be 16x16?
i'm too lazy to take out the psu
these acceleros takin lots of space:(
Yeah 3rd slot is 8x max electrical. You could always just sell both 4870's and pick up a 5870 heh.
Not sure yet...I have not seen the "official" voltage recommendations for 32nm...but I have seen a lot of posts benchmarking these chips over 1.5v..
I think for now 1.4 would be as high as I go 24/7...but I am sure I will go for some suicide runs to see how far I can take the chip for benchmarking....Why not :D

i almost bought the 5850 stupid me
and i passed 1 up for 240$
i passed up a 5870 for 350:mad:
i traded 4gb of ddr3for another 4870 yesterday
you think its gonna take a big hit 16x8
and i wonder if i can even find a long crossfire cable
i think i wil sell this cherry rig n just game on rex spacing is perfect
Hey zsamz . Put your two cards in the pcie x16 slots to get the full bandwidth . I look at it like this , when there is free performance at hand grab it and run with it . Why choose the slower route when a faster way is there for the taken and free !!!

Super clean ! Love it  .
That is a damn fine looking PC seba84_2005, excellent work.

LinX 50 times passed . Also stable 100% with HT enabled adjusting just IOH to 1.7966v and Dram Round Trip latency CHA CHB CHC to auto with all other bios settings the exact same . Do your own over clocking and stability testing but you can see here what is working for me 24/7 100% stable . Keep in mind with HT enabled you will see about a good 10c higher temps per core .
nice job seba84_2005, amazing.
