Not exactly, but very close. Similar functionality and design. Its a general window paint scrapper.Quote:

You can also use one of the blades from a shaving razor. For me thats was the easiest. The blade is so sharp and thin that you barely have to push to cut the black stuff.
Just picked up my new 170 0550 UPMW. Can't wait to see what this will do.
Good Luck m8. Hope it does as good as mine. :toast:  :woot:Quote:

I'd like to sell it to UKers who are from here preferably (those who know what they are doing anyhoo's ).
The lids popped, but i still got it,and i can send the original packaging and heatpipe heatsink too. :D
It's a 2.9er at very hot temps, ill post some 3gigs+ shots at the weekend.
...and sorry about the hijack. :)
My 0550UPMW is stable at 2.5ghz, 1.275 volts but Core1 fails Prime in ½ an hour at 1.45 :(
Currently burning it just in case.

It is called a 'package'.
New stepping ahoy!

Just got it an hour ago and had to charge the cam for pics before I toss it in. Have to leave shortly to run an errand for a family member, then I'm back to see what this thing does. Interesting stepping to say the least.
heh, that really looks like a winner...can't explain why, but it does.:p:
Good luck:)... and yeah, dont know why,but ive got the same feeling as Clint.:D
CCB1E looks good and MPMW too.
Very new week 0608.
Not seen in Germany before.
2700-2800Mhz have to go.
I want results baby!

I've had it in my rig for about 3 hours testing, but I've been running around helping family members out, then I got swindled into dinner (almost twice, grand parents offered to take me out) so I havn't really been available to test. No worries though, I'm testing it right now and will report back when I have something worth biting into. Plus, since this is on water, I'm a bit iffy about the mount, but it seems to be doing fine.
At first, I was concerned, but now it's surprising me so...yeah, I'll fill you in when I know for sure what's up. God, I'm such a tease. :D
Edit: Okay, I felt bad, so here's something to think about: 1.4v dual prime stable 2.7GHz 42C load is where I'm at atm, still got alot of testing to do. ;)
New CCB1E's  Haven't seen any except in 0550's
42C on water though with 1.4v! hotter than 0550vpmw
I'm partially blaming the mount, until I see otherwise.Quote:

Well remount then! Your results are awesome so far :) Looks like that may be the new "golden" stepping
Maybe, 2.8 @ 1.4v is the bottom of golden. 2.9+ @ 1.4v is golden.
I think you are spoiled by 0550 cpu's.. most single cores can't even do 2.9+ with 1.4v
Well, what's odd is, here's what happened.
I plug in mister 0608, and boot up with stock voltage (auto's to 1.35v). Let Windows notice both cores, and reboot. Open up clockgen and 2 Prime 95 instances, and start at it. Dual loads at 38C-39C, which is warm, but again I'm used to a lidless single core. Anywho, I take fairly stiff jumps in clockspeed, as I'm used to this system doing it without problem...1.8, 1.9, 2, 2.1, 2.2 all priming fine. So, I go a little slower now...2.25, 2.3, 2.35GHz...now I'm like yeah, this thing is chuggin' along nicely. I set 2.4, BSOD. :slapass: I almost cried, figuring I have a complete dud. :( I reboot and set 1.4v, and got up to 2560MHz before I had to leave to run some errands. I got home and like it was dual priming for like an hour and a half, and it diddn't error. So I've been continually adding speed, and it's just really surprising the crap outta me now, considering how it stumbled on itself at first. I'm wondering if it was just a fluke, like jumping 50MHz just upset it somehow.
Either way, I'm at 2.84GHz dual-priming for about 10 minutes, no errors. This chip is definately a contender, that's for sure. Hot as hell for $280 shipped 2-day! :toast:
Edit: Core 0 dies @ 2860MHz, second one still going...Memory is breaking past DDR400 though, so time to drop memory and see if that's it, or if it needs more voltage, or if temps are just too warm for it due to a bad mount. I'll keep everyone posted.
There has to be distinction between golden and excellent. You cant just label everything golden.Quote:
