Are you running your 148 on a Asus A8N Sli Premium?Quote:

No, havent done that.
Was curious, as it doesnt seem to improve the O/C for me when i increase those settings...wanted to know if it makes a difference for you.Quote:

Also ive noticed that in your 2nd rig you are using OCZ 4000 EBs, have you tried running them in your AMD rig? I planning to get them, wanted to know how they perform with this board!
The BallistX har better, but for some reason I cant run then with a divider, so right now the OCZ are in my AMD rig, maxing out at 260 HTT.
Timings, vdimm and what multi are you using?Quote:

Hi All!
I tried OCCT and still passes, this program is really memory picky. :slobber:

I have tried 3100Mhz 1.6v, is 32M stable but not prime/OCCT. It seems 3GHz is the sweet point. Still nice :D
This is really nice for a CAB2E core :toast:
Nice chip kakaroto :clap:Quote:

What did you manage with your 146 on stock vcore?
On 1.36v (1.4v) i could manage 2.9Ghz prime stable. I have no screen of it, but it ran one hour SP2004 then i quit and jump to 3Ghz.Quote:

Told you how hard OCCT is on your RAM/CPU!Quote:

Good to see the extra dual rad helped a ton.
3,1GHz is close to the max of my CPU for OCCT, not sure wheter the RAM or CPU is maxed out.

CABYE 0540 FPMW
3.0GHz @ 1.425v (in BIOS) OCCT stable on air.

my new opteron 144.. CABNE 0540 BPMW

tested on abit an8 ultra with aircooling.
My dual-core Opti will be here tomorrow so I kicked the CABYE out and gave my CABNE another last spin.
Looks like this one is solid in the 3 GHz club. :toast: CABNE 148 0528GPMW.
This is 3000 MHz at 1.55 V, prime95 running for 24 hours at the time of this shot. Air cooling, Big Typhoon, SLI-DR, Geil One TCCD.

what problems are you getting with ballistix/opteron and divider?Quote:

Zeus nice overclock but i was wondering what your watersetup looks like (components). Since you got great temps under 3ghz load.Quote:

So far seems like a pretty good chip. I'll let it burn in a few days at 3GHz and try for more later.
Current OC 3000MHz, 300x10, 1.5v 100% stable
Max OC 3080MHz, 280x11, 1.6v, not 100% stable but 1M SuperPi of 27sec on loose timings
CPU Temps 100% load @ 3GHz 1.5v 40C, idle 29C watercooled ThermalTake Tai-Chi Case
TCaseMax 65C
TDP 67.6 Watts
I just got a 148 from NE last night. It was a 0540FPBW :woot: It's got a great memory controller. Memory isn't tweaked, just wanted to run the high HTT.Quote:

This is on a TT BT.
dogsx2, your always getting some of the sweetest cpu's. NE's out tonight. Is that on a 150 divider? My 146 is considerably slower with that one but works very well with 166. My highest HTT is below @166. Mem was 271, screen froze though after pi - (cold). Voltage is not as shown, actual is 1.61.

It was with a 133 divider. The ram was 4000VX and I didn't want to change the jumper.
