Just flashed my Maximus Formula from BIOS 1004 to the Rampage Formula 0219. No problems to report, flash went fine just like any other flash.
Thanks to all the guys who helped track down that ES of AFUDOS.
Was a name ever decided on?

I JUST RAMPAGED !!!
so far so good.
Is anyone aware that one of Asus's ftp is still unlocked?
This one works fine ftp://ftp.asus.com/
Is the SE version of the MF required for this mod? Thanks.
no, both Maximus boards and a few P5's will flash
finally got a stable board, had to rma first one, now i,m looking to o/c. any one have a good stable set up for a 3GHz o/c. this will be my first attempt at o/cing, so not really sure where to start.
i'm running a Q6600 G0, with mushkin 996587 pc6400 ram @ 5 4 4 12, air cooled.
I saw the P5E, but I noticed there are two different versions of the MF. Does the SE have something the RTM MF does not? And by your response, I'm making the assumption the RTM works just the same.
EDIT
Appears the only difference b/w SE & RTM is compatibility with ECC/unbuffered DIMMS. Joining the club.
No, the SE has a waterblock for the NB. Read more here:

Is anybody running 4x1GB RAM?
I ran into an issue with the newer bioses (MF1004 and RF0219). I need a ton of NB voltage to get it to POST and boot Windows, around 1.72V, with all the timings and other settings on auto. If I try to change any timings, then it stops posting again, so I'd assume it needs even more voltage on the NB.
Going back to the MF0907 BIOS solves it, and I can boot fine with all auto settings. However, I have a X3350 coming this week, so I need a newer BIOS which has proper support of the CPU.
Any ideas?
Wow!! What a weekend!! Still no joy even with all the leads out and just using the boards power buttons. I guess im gonna try a new psu as it seems to work after i pull the lead out of it then put it back as if its reset something in the psu. And does anybody know if i could get a refund for my formula from ocuk as i have only had it for 5 days and i may as well just get a rampage or will they make me take another formula.
Cheers Paul
this is the best bios I've tried so far
I managed to reach 4ghz!
