But it´s only left 2 X2 3800+ with the same stepping.
And i can tell you that i have got to win desktop at 3100Mhz 1.55v :woot:
But thos mobo is tricky and it rebooted after i have take cpu-z validation.
But, CPU-z in not up to date and don´t let me validate :slapass:
Give me 2min and i will run Pi 1M at 3100Mhz .
My sistem is water cooled, and the win is not optimized for that :banana::banana::banana: :D
BTW, those OCZ EB PC4000 Platinum are from a friend of mine, and he told me that they start giving artefact at +260Mhz.
But i don´t know how i don´t get no artefact at hall with 270Mhz, i think this mobo is cool for those chip CE-6 :toast:
I use the last Beta BIOS 23/05/2006, very good and heasy to set :woot:
 3100mhz 1.6v :toast: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=97767 :woot:
Wish i have some extreme cooling :slobber:
similar stepping/batch X2 3800+ here doing 3200mhz on water http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=2733 !Quote:

:fact: Only for +18
 only for real man !!! BTW, i don´t temember the real Vcore used, but i think that was 1.48v or 1.465v, anyway that´s not a problem :D

Has anyone had issues with these boards having a memory beep error code? I just got a new from a Newegg RMA and I can't even get the display to come on. I keep getting a long beep error which the manual says is related to memory. I've tried my Mushkin CE-5, BE-5, and G.skill UCCC and all ram gets the same error beep. I've tried dual channel orange slots and single orange slot furthest from the CPU and still get the error. Any help would be appreciated.
Everything works fine on my DFI NF4 Ultra-D. If I can't get this resolved I'm going to give up on the ATI chipset altogether. I'll guess I'll just get an expert instead.
Have you read the entire thread? There are numerous resolutions to memory problems due to an immature bios.
Yes I have. I don't see anything detailing my situation. I've even tried an old crappy 256mb PC2100 module just to get the system to post. I can't get anything to display at all so updating the bios is out of the question.Quote:

I'm trying to avoid another RMA, but it seems like my only option. I just don't want to get stuck in an infinite loop of DFI RMA's...
What power suply are you using ?Quote:

When i first look at my board i noticed some jumper wasn´t in the wright set, it could possibly be that.
Try find on the manual how you must set all jumpers. ;)
1 stick of ram at a time at different slots?
I'm using the PSU in my sig, Silverstone Zeus 750 watt. I've already checked all the jumpers and they are correctly set.Quote:

The previous board I got worked perfectly except for the fact that it kept rebooting during windows install. Maybe the third one will be the charm.

Tried that... But the erroring stays... Also I want to use 6 HDD's and it looks like this board makes it just impossible! Isnt anyone fammiliar with this problem and/or assinging IRQ's and sh*t manually? I'm just  around with this board for over one week and the best results I have is running windows on the Sil Image controller with a max of 2 HDD's. :slapass:Quote:

And i don´t have problems.
Have you hit F6 when isntaling WIN XP and used the Board Sata RAID Driver Disk ?
But no Silicon Image drives attached? And you have no lockups every now and then?Quote:

Ofcourse I used the floppy:slap:
The controller just locks up and system freezes for a while... Happens about every 10mins...
BTW, with only 2 raptors on the ULi, SI disabled and no PCI cards I have the same problem... Tried several bioses already...
Try scandisk, maybe you have Badsectors:fact:
