Hmm. I just ordered a 0517GPPW. Never seen this stepping before, I hope it does well ;)

1.65vcore, what kind of temps you getting idle and load?
I guess i could try 1.65vcore, but 2.6ghz @ 1.45 is enough for me atm :)
are you guys using 1.3v + 123% and more or like me 1.55v+xx% ?
which option is better ?
Room temp is about 20ºC with balcony door openQuote:

Now its time for Vapo :slapass:
With ~20ºC room temperature it was at load 60-62ºC :nono:Quote:

fast test of the LBBLE 0517 EPAW :

my WC is too hot outdoor this afternoon
then prime stoped

all watercooled same as the 2 other tested  this night probably max screen testing :D i'll try 3174-3180 it's possible i think..
0517BPEW goes at least SP8M 3200MHz 1.66Vcore with VapoChill LS :toast:
Need definitely test 0517BPDW with my Vapo
Then DI :fact:
I agree with you here...Quote:

The process starts in the center of the wafer (the first core cut out will receive a batch number of 0001) and move outwards from there. Personally I believe in the "lower the batch code, the better the cpu" theory. Most all cpu's I've tested have conformed to this. Now every once in a while AMD may have just a bad silicon wafer and this in turn would produce an average cpu, even if it's batch code is #1. Here's an example of a nice wafer :) , my x2 4600+ (now OPB's) had a batch code of 0029:

@ 1.488Vcore
Oh I forgot to say, there always will be exceptions to this rule though my 3200+ Venice - LBBLE 0515APAW, batch code in the 500's, did better than most others I've seen with the same stepping:
http://img151.echo.cx/img151/3595/10x330spi1m3gr.jpg
So how many are cut from a single wafer? What is the highest batch code?
I have no idea on that one... :p:Quote:

Thx
So what do you think 0515FPDW is worth getting or should i wait for something better?
Hahah I had a week 37 at one point also, it was a turd! If I remember correctly week 36/37 were really bad weeks with really bad mem controllers.Quote:

3000+ LBBLE 0516DPJW - 2800 MHZ 1.568V AIR - UCmajewski XS - stock cooler
I just picked up a Venice with the above steppings. Will put it under water soon. I hope I have at least a 2.9Ghz chip here :D
0517BPEW with VapoChill LS

Im working on stabalising my chip with prime95 stabilty (WC) have gone over 3hrs @ 2906mhz but have failures after tht. I have everything enclosed in my case, im sure if i removed the pump (from the case ofcourse!!) my temps would come down a bit!!
