If they are wating, keep your eye on newegg. They only have 23 winnys in stock. 2 OEM 3500+, 2 OEM 3000+, 5 OEM 3200+, 10 Retail 3000+, and 4 retail 3000+. They dont even list the retail 3500+ winchester anymore, meaning it sold out and there not stocking anymore. This supports that there clearing out teh winny and then bringing in the venice. Everyone watch neweggs stockl!

All right, call me stupid, but how do you make Newegg show how many items in stock? I don't see number left anywhere in the product listings...

Add it to your card and change the quantity to 99. It will only update to the amount in stock.

Damn, that's clever...I would have never thought of that. :toast:

But, that doesn't work on items with a quantity limit set. And, uh, at the moment all the A64 939s have a limit. Oh well. :slap:

You cant tell what their stock is .... they all have purchase limits so the shopping cart is only gonna show you the limit you can buy.

Imagine that... cheaper than Winchester. Doubt Australia will have that. After a crap load of taxes that Mr Howard puts on, it'll cost a few bucks more.

Yes you can. For instance, the 3000+. It has a 5 per customer limit, but it wont let me add more than 2 to my cart due to insufficnat quantity, meaning they only have two in stock.

Nope sorry Dude I just went and tried all the Winchesters... they all show MORE then the limit that you can by. After putting each in the cart and upping the quant to 99 it only gave me the limit that is stated for each CPU.

So currently there is no way to tell how many winnies NewEgg still has.

If the populace has not recieved shipments of the new Venice core by April 20, we shall declare this event, a PAPER LAUNCH!!!!

lol, but really, we all saw the papers saying April 4th. yet we have no evidence that they have actually been shipped. I think we have every tight to call it a paper launch if no one has gotten their CPU by the 20th. I personally have been waiting a month for this core to order all my stuff off of newegg :( :( :( :( :(

Its only april 7 ;) I honestly do think they shipped on the 4th but dude, it takes 2 weeks to arrive, shipping isnt instant!

Did anyone see the Elara website? Venice and San Diego are expected to arrive on the 18th. They claimed to have the 3000+, 3200+, 3500+ and the 3800+. Whats interesting is that they are selling 4000+ San Diego at €712.97 which is about USD$905 and they have the FX-55 90nm selling at €503.02??? Just so you all know, Elara does not have the best reputation here in Ireland so take it with a pinch of salt.
I'll give them a call tomorrow!
