atm I'm running 2530mhz @1.53, 16 hours prime, (vcore can go lower!!)
just burning cpu in.
but I have to switch to 2T approx 288htt :(
cpu is a 0528GPFW E6 +3000
I'll post a pic once I've reached 2600mhz prime stable at a low vcore. (1.5 I hope)
btw my stress temp is 42 degrees with air atm :) quite good in comparisson with my s754 newcastle what was +60 degrees. after a couple of minutes toast.

Yay! There's life in the olde Venice 3000+ E6 yet. With a Vapo LS, I've been priming at 2.7 GHz, 1.495v dmm reading, -17C to -9C. I tried to go 311 x9 for 2.8 but trashed a Windaz system file on boot - the A8N32 goes a bit funny when booting with the 0.2v overvolt facility apparently, so might have tried initial boot at 1.3v, which is not a winner.
I'll clear down the CMOS tomorrow and see if I can fix it. Still, it's already more than I expected.... 50% OC, just like an E3 ;)
CPU: Venice 3000+ LBBWE (can't remember the assembly date..) @ 350x8 (2800mhz)
VCore: 1.625V (1.45V +10% on my Neo2)
Cooling: Air, SLK-948u + 80mm 3k RPM fan
Temps: 40C idle, up to about 50C on load
System: Neo2 PT (BIOS v1.8NFM 1T mod), PQI Turbo TCCD 2x512 memory
Stability: overnight (about 6 hours) of Prime95
I haven't found a decent setting/divider for the memory yet, so benchies such as SuperPi would be pretty pointless, the memory is at 1:2 right now (175mhz 2-2-2-10 1T).

Does anyone knows which is the "good stepping" for 3200+ at this moment?
My Venice 3000+ can run 2,8ghz vcore 1,475volt with stockfan stable SPi 32m

Does anybody here have a socket 754 Venice?
Heard someone smth. about 30week Venice? I have it but overclocking is so little - 2600Mhz @1.7voltage by Tt BigTyphoon. I just wanna to by Operon144. Mem Hyndai D43chips 474MHZ 2.5-3-3-7timings.
Check my sig (old rig). Priming right now at 32C. It's a pretty nice chip; wish I had a better mobo and ram for it, because I'm sure it would really fly. BTW, Vcore is 1.44v.

here is a valid...voltage isnt stable , because i have a unreal 300 watt psu.:slapass:
stock cooling , c&q is off , cpu core is about 30 C. if i have a good psu and very well cooling i can pass by 3200 mhz :stick:

i got a 3200+ venice with : LBBWE 0551 BPQW is it a good one?

Venice 3200+ LLBWE 0552APHW
1.68V@2.75GHz on stock air.
I will post some results.
Voltage scaling:
1.46V->2.60GHz
1.54V->2.66GHz
1.68V->2.75GHz
Temps with stock air between 38-48 on load & Vcore<1.54
For everyday i am at 255 & 1.43V (just to stabilize memory controler).
My s754 Venice 3000+ is very special. It's a Malaysian one and plainly these are rare - all the others I've seen are Chinese. It's an E6 revision as they all are, so-so in s939 when compared to E3, but pretty damn exciting in s754 I think.
I've been priming at 2650 on a voltage limited Asus board, 1.44v vcore (spec 1.4V), under water with the core showing 29C (Valdiadation 78417 and why don't my link work?), but if I open too many apps or the screensaver kicks in I get a crash. I blame that on the knackered 2 year old Crucial Value sticks myself, must try with the HZ or Ballistix.
What's bugging me is VVJ's assertion that the 13C thermal offset shown in CBiD works as described. 29C - 13C = 16C. If that is true, then this chip must be frickin' amazing. Like very very special. If I had the volts, how far could it go?
Edit: :woot: :woot: this BIOS.. Jeez!! any vcore up to 1.55v gives 1.46v and that's that. Then reading the Anandtech forums, there's a guy who thinks he's got a voltmod which does the same except 1.575 and 1.6 give him more.. just tried it without the voltmod at 1.575 (1012-7 beta BIOS) and got 1.52v / 1.536v fluctating. Priming at 2700 now.. no, 2750 now.. heh, lets keep going... :woot:
Thats very nice for a s754 m8 =)

It primes for a while but fails generally before an hour's passed, 35C constant. Those voltage steps a brutal and there are no tweaks to be had there. I'm trying the RAM at CPU/12 rather than CPU/15 now. This is not a fresh XP build either, like an 8 month old kludge, so maybe a new one would help. And the voltage swings aren't magic fun to be honest.

Screenie (SuperPi finished @ 28m 26s):
hi guys,
this is my first post on this forum and i must say you guys are pretty decent overclockers, so :clap: to all of you.
I have recently bought a new mobo + cpu and have been playing around with it. It's a venice 3200+ with 0604.. so i think its a pretty new one. I didn't have enough money to buy new memory so i using my current 2x512 corsair 400 MHz and 2x256 crappy 400 MHz. I think i have a pretty decent overclock for 4 memory modules, check it out:
200x10=2000 MHz CPU 400 MHz MEM ( 2.5-3-3-8-2T )
267x10=2670 MHz CPU 450 MHz MEM ( 3-3-3-8-2T )
Vcore is at 1.525 V running 34 C idle and 44 C load on a Zalman 9500CU. Give me your opinion please, i think this baby can run REAL FAST if i had better MEM and only 2 sticks ofcourse.
Mine does 2.66 with 1.54V so you are very good up there.
But mine cannot do more than 2.75 with 1.68 which is the max i gave.
dude your memory is PC3500 mine is 3200, you got 2 sticks of ram i got 4 sticks, i would say , my overclock is better...
