I think thats way to much varience in temps to make the card stable.

I have some MCW50 straight waterblocks I'm gunna try today and see how it does.

I have no clue at this point when my -80C system will be up and running:D

its just not the same if its not a proper bench :( .it just feels so dirty...

edit:i mean, you were only benching for like, 30 seconds not 5 minutes.theres no pride in that.we want to see something on the orb with 200 car high.

when i saw that i went meh, its only 0.8fps faster than overklokk and he benched for 5 minutes, not a mere 30 secs.i mean come on, when you only have to bench for 30 secs you can run at a much higher cpu clock without having to worrying about it crashing on you.

Benchers including overklokk run one test at a time, so technically we all only bench 30secs at a time in 2001, but I guess you didn't know that ;)

200fps in CH is awesome.... :toast:

I am going to replace my one 6800 Ultra today, the one that doesn't like Cold.
So at this point I only have to deal with one more problem before I can get the 6800s up on the ORB, cooling. I have a unit that does -85C under max load. Now I need another one:D

So, in the mean time I think I will put my X800XT on the Cascade and see if it still overclocks. I'll check it out tonight, might bust out some 44k ATI action.

Is'nt it great to just hear that as you wait to grab another 6800 ultra you just 'pop' in a X800XT to do some 3D 01 and ATi lovin which may just take down 44K :D

Well it isn't really just pop it in:D
To get the 200 Car. First I had to take the card out of my everyday PC, take it off of it's waterblock and put the stock air sink on it. Since then I put the card back into my 24/7 rig and it's on water again.
Now I'll have to take it out, do the v-mods, and then attach it the cascade. Then I'll have to wrap it with seran wrap.

So, to say "POP In" is and under statement;)

Quite correct. I imagine a more appropriate word would be you "OPP"ed it in :D lol (vmods+xtreme cooling :eek: )

Though I like what your cards look like before you overclock, opp...lol.

I was trying the same today but i cant get the cpu too run abowe 270 with 2*512...... it looks like it is the mem controller that cant doo it :(

I dont think i can get more out of my rig for this time :(

Hmmm...does than mean even an FX-55 is a bottleneck for the X800XTPE ????

...and how come we dont see a lot of 40Ks with X850XTPEs too...technically they're supposed to be better chips on PCI-E :confused:

Not gunna happen with my current X800 card. I did the mods, hooked it up last night but I couldn't get any good clocks, the memory espeacily. I guess it has been on water for so long it just lost it:D
