I have found that there are subtle differences between the FX-55 and Winchester cores at the same or similar clocks. Some of the components within 3D bench tests are affected by the larger cache (or the smaller cache of the Winchester - depends on your point of view). I have also noticed some tests improve with better FSB rates, while others drop a little. Add to that, the tolerances from card to card, CPU to CPU, and memory to memory, and we are lucky to get within 2 to 3 percent on the exact same system with the same settings, never mind different hardware. That 2 to 3 percent makes a big difference on bench scores up around 11000 or so. That represents a 200 to 300 point spread on similar spec'd hardware. So, 10 points is really a zero difference, but it does mean the difference between second and third. ;)
