That is true, it's slightly overvolted from the stock BIOS. Along with AB 2.2.3, you can reach 1.31X using the software to overvolt the core further.

Cool :).
So if that's the case then you could mod these card's voltage without a hardware mod.
Just a bios flash (not really safer).
Now I wonder if other cards can use the ln2 bios.
But then again if it didn't work that would suck.
I got mine up and running, I didn't check the voltages with a dmm yet.
I ran pcsx2 with it.
Xenosaga 1 and 2 run ok at 4096x4096, a little slow but more then enough to make it playable.
Gran turismo 4 doesn't run at 4096x4096, it does try to run at 2048x2048, runs fine at 1024x1024 though (even faster then my 460se at native res).
Upping my cpu might help too...
Checking out the tdp graph here on gpu-z :).
I got it up to 76%, I've gotten the gpu usage at 99%.
But then I glanced at the memory usage, I was able to use all 2 gigs of vid ram.
That sucks... whatever I guess.
I'm glad I picked the card I did in the end.
I'm also impressed with the power usage of the card.
I'll have to play some pc games and check out the power usage on them, etc etc.
Pretty cool card though.
I got bios ver 80.04.28.00.39.
I've also already dl'ed the v1.1 bios from msi.
And got the copy of the supposed original ln2 bios floating around.
Oh, I'm on driver:
301.42-quadro-tesla-win7-winvista-32bit-international-whql
Custom sli profile stuff loaded instead of the defaults
Edit:
I've gotten the mem up to 3625mhz (7250mhz) so far, no increase of voltage.
Tested with:
Cod mw2, mw3, bo, waw.
SR3, mafia2, sf vs tekken, and 3dmark03.
That's all of tested with so far, I don't expect it to be 100%, but it seems pretty close, I'm probably gonna end up running around 7200mhz mem.
1600+ on the core is ok for bf3 with 1.53v -40c dice cooling :D
I get into the game so much i forget to pack pot and to check temp meter so i had to set sound warning at -1c lol

The night before I had screw up the driver somehow and couldn't set my lod.
Re-installed and afterwards I was able to import my profile again.
I usually remove the nvsvc and whatever else there is from the driver that starts up in windows that's not needed.
I don't know what happened but after removing it the cpl disappeared and the sli profile manager said it was an unsupported driver.
Anyways after fixing that, I went back to testing the card (stresses the card more at -15 lod).
Played skyrim a bit, saw that +625 on the mem was to much after about 10 mins.
600+ seemed fine, but after an hour of playing I went and checked with AB and saw my clocks maxed out at 800mhz mem (it did this once before).
I changed it to 600+ via alt tab and started the game back up, mid game.
So maybe there's some sorta bug or something in AB.
It said my core clocks were low too, but I don't remember the what they were.
I think the way of doing it is set the clock, test it, if fail, restart computer and try again sorta thing.
Because right now I'm not sure if it was running 600+ on the mem that whole time.
I've got the latest aida64, gpu-z, afterburner, and hwinfo32.
And all of them report diff temps and clocks lol.
For example, gpu-z says 1800mhz mem when afterburner says 3600mem (7200).
I guess that makes some sense (now that I'm thinking about it), still it confuses me though lol.
So far, note my cpu isn't clocked up, I've gotten just over 90k on 3dmark03.
Looking that up online it's about half that that some others have gotten.
Some peeps got up to 140k I guess.
Tried installing the avp benchmark, not enough space on C:\, eerrggh lol, I'll have to installing it on my win8 (has 20-30 gig partition).
One neat thing though, on Saints Row 3, in the display.ini I can set lighting = 3 now and it runs fine, looks a little better texture wise.
Almost as good as the dx9 mode now while in dx11, if I use 16x aa that is.
What I kinda mean is it's decent looking enough to play in dx11 mode now :).
Cousin of mine is supposed to pick me up to get some food, it's 5am and I haven't ate since the day before yesterday, stupid little caesars ripped me off yesterday.
This is what my prob is, after testing for a few mins it seems that my clocks go down the drain and aren't recoverable.
What I mean is after this prob sets in i can't change my clocks anymore until I restart windows.
(Forum makes a thumb out of it, you'll have to open in a new page to read it)

It appears to run ok for a few mins, then I think I saw a glitch but I'm not sure.
Afterwards it got alot slower, still playable though (skyrim maxxed, no aa and no af).
It would be one thing if the card flipped out on me, like it's supposed to, instead of going to some oddball low clock rates and staying there.
My clocks looks like they get halved...
I'm gonna have to try a lower speed for my mem, that's the only thing I can think of.
This is honestly the weirdest dumbest thing I've ever come across when clocking vga cards.
Maybe it's a feature, I'll have to enable gpu logging to find out.
Your rams are set too high try starting at +300
Run stock just to see where the core boost goes to,around 1200 -1300 is the limit on ref cards
remember the cards do clock down in 2d mode and low power 3d mode, you should test with osd.
3d03 sucks with the card so forget testing with that ,most of gt1 is run in low power 3d mode as do someother fm dx9 benches.
try heaven 3.0 and your dx11 games.
I'm using the osd now, that helps.
So far 575+ for mafia 2.
575+ ? (crashed though, not sure...) sr3.
550+ bf3 (had glitches at 575, had to restart to get rid of them, and afterwards tested up to 550+ and was ok)
Skyrim I think was ok at either 575 or 600 I forget.
I played each for about an hour.
It appears I can clock the mem up to 550+ (7100mhz).
I gotta try some new benchs and try clocking the core and see what that does without increasing voltage.
(Interested in stock voltages 1st)

hey Gorki as good as u can see they are VERY GOOD specially using the 3770K they pump FPS like mad and my LCD is a Crossover LED 27Q native res 2560x1440 i can play all games till now at ultra settings without going under 60fps vsynced and i dont need OC to game i can OC but not worth at all on SLI
cheers
