Thanks Guys. :)
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support and encouragement. What really go me bummed about the recent loss of data was losing all the kind comments. Fact is, on tough days of trying to whack a square peg into a round hole (don't worry Daniel - not literally), I'd come here and reread the comments; they always boost my spirits. Anyway, the past is just that and now we move forward. I'm pleased to report that we've got something very special in the works for the 4 Intel X25-M 160G SSD drives - with a full pictorial of the process of course! :yepp:
Cheers All. :toast:
Those mips waterblocks look delicious! Nice job on the build charles.
charles this looks really nice
i hate to admit but i am jealous of your sleeving
Charles when are you going to add those res holders to your site ?
I have an idea you should use as a product for rads and to make case cabling even less seen
I'm considering doing a build with a 920 and that Asus WS board. Just something crazy that I wouldn't even utilize to it's fullest outside of encoding. Following this thread is very tempting.
Good Job
:), any updates ?
I'm sure he'll upload photos once updates are ready... :)
Inspiring build and beautiful photographs.
And admit it, you are not wearing those gloves to protect from finger prints, you just loves the feel of latex against your skin ;)
Thanks Guys. :)
The res mounts are coming my good man; materials are in transit and then production will begin. Yeah; I'd love to hear your idea. :)
HAHA, you got me! Is admitting I've got a problem the first step? Which stage is wearing them outdoors? Hey, I didn't say anything about wearing them to bed! ;)
Project Update: In summary - waiting on parts. The plan is to attempt a dual loop so all the additional bits & bobs needed to be ordered. Unfortunately, NCIX seems to be scaling back its LC supplies, so it was off to the man himself; Gary@Sidewinder. I've got an idea for how the loops will go but until I've got everything on hand, it's really all still to figure out. Not to worry tho - I've got a plan... :) The other part we're waiting on is the i7 975. The chip won't hold us up since I can essentially design the loops without it. What I needs are the LC parts.
Now that the materials have arrived, the custom SSD mount will be made this week (and hopefully showcased).
It takes a lot of planning and preparation to get a build of this magnitude together but I'm pleased to say we're definitely getting close... assuming Daniel stops moving the finish line! Hehe, all kidding aside, I'm very excited to get to work on those loops and get some new pics flowing... not to mention coolant. :yepp:
It might look like Charles is complaining a bit that I keep moving the finish line, but every time I stop doing that, he finds all kinds of shiny new things to show me and in effect, moves the finish line himself. I dunno, I think he just doesn't want part with this bad boy! :D
D.
Charles, quick one of you dont mind. That special looking coolant of your, any chance you gonna be selling any ??
Thanks for your time
Feser - would be too simple :) Its murderJuice!!!!!!!!!
murderJuice :)
Well i want some of that juice then, how much can i murder some for ;)
JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCE!
Im crazy >.>
wow, you must be more patient than my dog trainer. But it's that attention to detail that gets such ridiculously superb results as you are getting with this build. I honestly can't wait to see the finished project! You have re-inspired me to work on a case I designed but more than that, you've also inspired me to step it up a notch. Why half-ass it when doing it right looks so damn good?
Nice work man, nice work.
Patience, what is that?!... :hitself:
Yup, mine actually fills the loop while I am priming and bleeding it.
<--- He's getting a new ESD lab coat too. Little bugger is just full of static.
The pictures look so very nice!! :slobber:
Even something simple like a radiator with some fans you make look so awesome and neat :yepp:
n_____n
awesome as always :)
charles...could you tell me how much it was to plate the blocks?
