I just got on the auto notify list and bought it as soon as I got the email it was in stock.
Good luck in your search.

Where on the board can I find the version number (1.0, 1.1, 1.2). I just got mine from NewEgg and I couldn't find an obvious version number like on my Asus boards. FYI, no broken parts found on delivery.
Damn, I have version 1.0. Thought waiting almost three weeks to order, and the high demand would mean I'd get one of the refreshed boards. Bet I got a return. Well, I have 30 days to think about it. At the moment I'm using a Corsair HX620 and don't expect to run a 1200w, but who knows down the road.
Anyway, thanks for the version location.
There's nothing wrong with the 1.0 revision.
The new revision fixed some compatibility issues with some PSUs, but the same thing can be done with the BIOS updates that Foxconn is providing the users with :)
Well, i will be switching to i7 within the next month, and motherboard has been the most difficult decision of the upgrade. After reading every post in this thread I think the bloodrage is currently topping my list... only problem is, you can get one anywhere in the UK! Does anyone have any idea when it will be available over here?
this might help MikeMK http://geizhals.at/eu/a391326.html and a read through...http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=213559
does the swiftech gtz lga 755 work on blood rage? i heard someone said the board still need the lga1366 mount plate or back plate?
ok the bio can't seem to detect the velociraptor when i connected to SAS port. or maybe it shows on other bio screen. i'm looking at standard CMOS feature
Matrix is a feature of the ICH10R by Intel, and cannot be used/taken advantage of from another controller ( like the Marvell 88S... SAS RAID Controller on the BloodRage ).
If you want to use the "Matrix Storage" technology, all the drives that are going to be used by the arrays need to be connected directly to the Intel ICH10R, that limits you to the 6 blue 90* angled SATA Ports that are controlled by the Intel chipset.
ok i'm try to install new vista into a matrix raid(2 Vraptor), but it seem when i set the Sata mode = Raid, all sata device is gone under standard cmos feature in Bio. any ideas? it can't even find my dvd driver anymore. i can only find my drive under boot setting config, its like i can't boot from cd anymore.
ok it look like if i create 2 raid 0 volume, it will not boot up, any ideas? but if i create a single raid, its fine. im guessing i have to create the 2nd raid after install window? sorry pretty new at raid stuff
That was me and I'll confirm that as I have the Swiftech GTX on my Bloodrage and could not use the 775 backplate as it does not have a hole in the middle to support the Socket 1366 stock backplate. I had to order the GTZ 1366 adapter to work with my Bloodrage and both the GTX and GTZ use the same mounting hardware. Pics below will show what I mean between the two backplates. First one is 775 and second one is 1366. Hope this helps!
When you set the SATA configuration to RAID the BIOS no longer "sees" the disks, you can monitor your HDDs from the Intel Matrix Storage ( ICH10R ) BIOS menu ( Ctrl + I during POST ).
What do you mean that when you create 2 RAID 0 volumes it won't "boot up" ?
It won't boot from the Optical drive ( CD/DVD/DVD+/-RW/Blu-ray/etc ) to install Windows ?
I don't know what you mean exactly, so before you post again with more details all I can do is give you some guidance on how to set it up.
1) Enter the Intel Matrix Storage BIOS ( Ctrl + I ) and configure your RAID Arrays.
2) Make sure that the "Bootable" option is set to "Yes" for your RAID Array ( the one you wish to install Windows on )
3) Exit the Matrix Storage BIOS
4) Get into the motherboard's BIOS and set the First Boot Device to CD-ROM.
5) Make sure you have no USB Flash Disk Drives connected.
6) Boot from your Windows CD and start the installation.
If you have any spare (JBOD) HDDs connected and it looks like the board isn't even trying to boot from the CD, then disconnect any SATA device and leave only the required HDDs, the 2 HDDs that you'll be using in the RAID Arrays and the CD/DVD drive.
It should boot fine now :)
ok thanks i figure it out
Ok, I got a noobish question:
Is it ok to run my 4870x2 in the bottom red PCI-E x16 slot vice the top one as it will make my watercooling run easier and shows off the board quite nice.
I have another question, is it possible to do SLI with only the top two PCIE slots? This will make my radiator placement easier.
Also is there any known waterblocks works with the bloodrage northbirdge? I personally don't like the design of the block that much.
Not sure about the SLI questions but I love my Northbridge block. What about it is bothering you if you don't mind me asking?
Any card + full size block = single slot. You can also buy the low profile bracket at most mod stores. Now that's solved, will they work?
1/2 barb is the problem. I have all 7/16 compression fittings and suddenly pops out two 1/2 :(. Not only it doesn't look good, but also I find impossible to get 7/16 fit over 1/2.
