I have just tried.No difference with VDD..

Wierd maybe it has somthing to do with what VID range is in effect....
Also iif you raise the Vcore for NB it will raise the VID for both,, since the Vcore of NB can not be higher than CPU it will auto matically raise CPU a step ahead or the same value for VIDs..
Now on the other hand If you raise the Vcore for CPU which will raise the VID accordinly to its vcore value it will not raise the NB value.
When testing all the volt settings,,
i Raised Both CPU/NB volts the same @ Stock Clocks to see what volts = what VIDs up to 1.55vid = 1.65volts .
It seems VDD Rasies the VID value more or sooner when VDD is raised,,Especially under load...
I know its confusing..
Note:
The screen below my VID is 1.55vid for both CPU/NB ,, VDD is 2.8v Vcore for both CPU/NB is 1.65v.. Total value with VDD 2.8v + 1.65vcore(1.55vid) = 1.70volts for both CPU/NB. Im using WaterCooling . on Air or Stock cooling above 3.3ghz you will be limited by heat. These values can be raised to see 1.78v so please go slow..Im pushing well above the average volts. This Mobo and Chip has seen 1.78v+ just because it can.
So far this is my best Oc ,,
My NB@2640mhz is maxed with this ram freqency(for this Chip) so to go higher i would have to use less NB from here on out.
Still tweaking it,, happy for now..

well im happy i got my board today and i tell you this is a nice looking board but its not the black it the brown but doesnt matter ,should i get the Phenom to put in here or wait for the Deneb , if it is the Phenom what one should i go for?
then i think the Deneb is going to go for maybe $300 ,but who knows , i see everyone having some nice overclocks here with the 9950 ,but im also new to the X4's

Me personally didn't get anything from the new options of CPU Prefetch etc. and I am thinking that maybe I should go back at 04..
I think 04 is more stable...
I had weird blue screens with this one.
With 04 nothing stable as a rock.

Something new every day with this Mobo...
CPU voltage = 1.67v and Now the VID's read 1.46v with CPU @1.72volts
NBcpu voltage = 1.65v
HTT = 2.8v
CORE/pci-e = 1.30v
SBvoltage Auto
VDD = 2.8v
ACC Disabled.
Some how it looks as ACC enables its self after you hit a certain point i dont know whats going on but this is the Highest Clock ive reach with this chip and Mobo . I thought i was maxed @ 3.52ghz..
Also im using NB@2000 and HT @2000...
I just find this Odd that the VID lowered when i use 1.67volts on CPU but keep NB @ 1.65v...Something is self adjusting :shrug:,,all Values for VOLTS manually set with ACC DISABLED.

Your board seems to use VID's like my AsRock
No offset up to 1.55V just VID's used. Then comes an 0.1V voltage offset + VID's, so max adjustable on a running system is 1.65V here if you can not change the offset. To get higher you must boot at 1.665V. Also tested 1.765V with my 9600BE and it booted just fine into windows.
With an DMM I noticed that the idle overvolt had dropped from ~0.1-0.2V to -0.05V but the difference between load and idle had increased going from 1.55 to 1.565V.
i personally think the 04 bios was better, I might flash to it again. I cant even run my ram at 4-4-4-12-20 with this bios, it wont boot. worked flawlessly with the other bios.

I used 504 and 403 bioses and i think in the end the 403 is most stable .Even though i can get the same clocks with 504 .The 403 is not as sensitive to the ram going above 1150mhz for my 9950:shrug:
504 booted the same as 403 hot or cold,just is harder to tune my ram even with loose timing.
^^yeah, im going back to 0403 tonight for sure. This 0504 bios sucks!!!
I haven't had any problems with 0504 so far. :shrug:
The HT multi switch works above 10x with 0504. :D
I dont know if this has been addressed in this thread or not because I have not siphoned through all the posts, I am not at the house yet and I am looking for a water block for the mosfets. I am looking a couple different models but I need to know what the exact spacing is between the mounting holes in the board. I am thinking that this one will work if I turn one of the mounting brackets to put the hole in the bracket to the side.

Is that copper plate you have brazed to the pipes the same plate that comes with the heat sink on the board?
I was thinking of doing something similar, but using the koolance mosfet block and screwing it to that plate.
I just want to see if I can get another heat pipe setup first so if I have to RMA the board, I can.

The heatsinks are aluminum on the mobo
I had one of guys at work cut a copy in copper, I made it longer so it covers all of mosfets
The mosfet heatpipes are just glued the NB heatsink and a thermal pad under the heatsink, easy to remove
The NB and SB could be a different story, I destroyed one M3A32-MVP already trying to remove the heatpipe assembly, the TIM was like epoxy when it got cold.
I got to see the inside of 790FX :shocked:
I'm hoping ASUS changed their TIM for NB and SB
OK, I figured it out!
I'm going to use the Koolance block I pictured above and get a piece of copper plate 1.5" x 4.5" and 3/16" thick from online metals, and I'm going to cut it to be exactly like the plate that comes with the motherboard only a little longer. I will then use Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive to adhere the block to the plate.
You guys think that will work?
