Achill3uS: What does it say on the 2 chips with 8 legs in this pic:

Im running +3.0 LOD with all the tests. Is there any way to get more than that? (im using rivatuner atm)
My external power supply working perfect, running smooth at 2.6v set, dropping 0.06v at 3d while running 1059/2700/501 :D

play more later.. ;)
LOL
wow man some serious clocks
do some benches heheheh
Running for a contest dinos22, just nature 2001 and at a amd fx55 setup
Don't think its realy interesting for the whole benchmark, i wil try maybe later on a yorkfield.
First '03 run:
9260 -> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5716566
e8400 @ 4ghz, card @ 690c/1380s/540m, 1.5v gpu, 2.2v ram, air cooled
only basic LOD tweaks

Ohh, nice challenge, I like it:)
I would be join, please write up for list zakelwe!
over@locker886 added to the front page ..welcome to the comp! :)
oohms new 3dscore added well done ! For Rivatuner LOD the setting to increase LOD range is under POWER USER -> RIVATUNER \ NVIDIA \ GLOBAL -> LOD BIAS RANGE. And set to 15.
Classically nvidia from 6XXX upwards tends to have a spike at about 3.3 in nature, but I found 3.6 good for nature with these cards, feel free to experiment.
Rol-CO and the other dutch guys have been doing some fantastic hardware overclocking and software tweaking for their competition. :toast:

Don't think so, you can put 5 score's up without pro account , but only 1 active.
its a adjustible converter 5v of the psu to 2v johnny, nothing special
That's why i build this up with the original cooler of the gs,so switching to watercooling was easy and planned, burned my fingers already with the test setup.
so fets has to be cooled, one of them had bad contact and was getting 120 degrees C at 2.00v running 3d and burned the as5 that was on it.
now they are a nice 35 degrees load at 2.60v at the core.
bad contact :(

public score of 2003  or buy the pro version for a few buck's.
I't been a long time since I was not a pro user and thought you could have one published score per 3dmark, if it is only one on the ORB then as long as I see it up there and you get your score on the first page leaderboard then you can then take it off and do the other 3dmark or any other score you wish.
Would that be workable for you T_M and others?

sounds fine to me.
here it is

now you can :)

thanks for trying to help me guys :toast:
Both not for the core voltage i think, 1 is the multiplexer and other a eprom (bios) chip.
and the 2 8leg chips on the front?
Interesting stuff, must be a high current draw, if you're sharing the load over 4 MOSFETs and there still getting that hot
I may have to reassess my own linear circuit as it's based on a singular MOSFET design - either that or just solder in a Hiprotech Maximiser ;)
Yep, you remember the ocz ddr booster...this is basically the same design, and those where getting hot too, just added a opamp to it.
I started with the maximizer but either something wrong with it or just could not handle the current....have to send it in for repair, its acting weird.
Sart of a new week, and i have a bit of spare time to finally pick the card. examined the PNY ones at work, and don't look like there upto much at all, so dumping that idea;)
Looking about online at multiple different makes available in the uk, i think i have boiled it down to one of 2 options. 1 is the Zotac high profile one that someone already has on here in this contest. The other i have not seen. Be nice to see what you guys think of the layout and the pwm area. Does look to bad for me, but im no expert:p:
http://www.leadtek.com/eng/3d_graphi...0gse_tdh_2.jpg
The layout looks different to me from the basic design. Also the actuall looks like it may been push further back on the card, cause the cooler is further back, and the pwm area looks to take more PCB space.
Well anyway, i gota get a card here fast to join in! I feel left out at the moment!

I'd say the fastest memory would be the best pick. That is the one thing I wish my card had, better clocking memory as every MHz in memory is like 20MHz on GPU. Fighting for memory bandwidth is interesting to say the least :)
