.80 is from XFX and has an older date as .26
oops, someone else already posteed this - sorry.
Strangely enough, I still do better with .26. I'll try .01 and .02 next.
The 1.1V Mod does NOT work for my card.
If someone could please rake a look at my BIOS.
Well I tried .80 and no dice. I can't overclock my memory even 1 mhz past 900 mhz for freezes etc.
I know........
That's the opriginal bios of mine
I did change the extra to 1.1V and it does NOT work. But I uploaded the original bios of mine without 1.1v set in extra for someone to look at it
I have chhanged it and flashed it and it does not get me any higher clocks at all
Flashed a modded eVGA 8800GT SSC BIOS with modded RAM timings to my Palit 8800GT. Got this so far:

Not doing too bad. As far as non-hardmod tweaks go, I am about out of options. Next step: volt mod.
Linky
There's 2 there. One with the RAM left alone and one with the modded timings.
could you upload the bioses here
Thanks...:)
can you upload bioses here
Here you go...the RSSC has the higher clocks with the 1.1V option and the second one has the same except with looser ram timings.
No problem. Here you are.
JINX! lol nice simul-post.
nothing the 1.1V bios mod doe snot seem to be working for me
changing extra to 1.1v does nothing for clocks
I also change VIOD03 to 1.1v like the first post of this thread and does nothing
Here is my original BIOS
*without 1.1v mod*
What brand card do you have?
OK everyone should try this bios, rev 04 of evga 8800gt sc, i mod the volt to 1.15, here is the bios, enjoy.
bios is dated 12/05/2007 newest bios for the 8800gt yet.

I would not flash that bios until editing the clock speeds as well. GAR, the 756/1890/1000 is a "little" high for most 8800GT's you know...:D
someone have test the history of jumper ??
On the Galaxy HDMI it's 2 jumpers, one for dual bios and the other for the VCore...

My Point of View 8800 GT (with new Cooler)
has this Voltages without any mods:

I try to change the Voltage with nibitor
and I see this in the BIOS:

Change voltage to 1,2 V has no effect.
look to the BIOS in the Attachment
Well...I decided to use my original BFG OC bios and just change the clocks to 700/1750/950 and nothing else (ie - no voltage change) and I am now able to overclock much, much higher. Go figure???
From my experience if you try to flash higher than 1.1v you end up w/ 1.05v instead of 1.1v, so set it to 1.1v or you won't get any improvement.
Don't mess w/ anything in the VID Mode tab. That won't do anything for you, and you might make it to where the 1.1v mod won't work. Just go the the Exact Mode tab and change Extra to 1.1v. It will either be blank or say 1.05v before you change it.
It seems some cards come from the factory w/ 1.1v, so those folks might not get any better results after the mod, but they usually get high clocks anyway.
