Any idea where the nozzle kits are available in UK?
I got 2 packs from Petra this week and I planned to use them for my 2 quads but it seem like no improvement throught some reports.Should I install quad nozzles ?
No, the gasket is rubber its just that it's glued to the top with black silicone which is unnecessary with a rubber gasket. It's no big deal, I was just stating something I'm seeing and I don't know if they all came that way. I'll take a pic after work tomorrow.
If I could tell that (brand) then I could make a lot more money than what I do now doing something else.:rofl:Quote:

BTW. Not saying I know this first hand or anything, but a little solicone in your DDC impeller might make it pretty noisy and cause you to think it's failing. Just saying, it could happen
I will check the RPM monitor and report back. I am surprised -- as I am almost sure that I read the original pump in its design was submersible, but it does stand to reason that once you change the design from that flush molded plastic top to delrin the properties of the pump change quite significantly :o
Looks like Petra has the Nozzles back in stock. But, now they are out of the Yate Loons that I was going to get at the same time, to save on shipping. Just isn't my day!
Does the quad nozzle produce much restriction?
finally got my nozzles i cant wait to test it out on my quad o and i didnt use that weak gasket dtek included i used an o-ring so my fuzion is bowed and nozzled
I just ordered a Fuzion with nozzles for my Quad, so I'm hoping to see how that quad nozzle performs :)
I just ordered a D-tek fuzion with nozzles from sidewinders. Is there different nozzles out there for dual and quad core ?
well my report perse, after a few adjustments, which where radiator placement, I dropped about 7ºC. I can't say that this was all because of the nozzles but i guess that changing a few things did the trick... Its recommended.. I still have split temps... no way to get them close..
at idle i have 34 34 26 28
HOT 54 54 46 46 From 67 67 58 58
So I am not the only one, having core-differences like that!
some Waterblocks have it very bad, some not so. But yours are very worse. Is that normal? Looks like yor Waterblock is not mounted that well. Or the cores must have a horrible contact to the IHS
The nozzles are not available in germany. Is there a shop with low shipping-costs to germany (letter or something?) The nozzles are very small and I wouldn´t like to pay 10-15€ for shipping of tiny plastic washers
also some chips are different that way as well. I have a quad back in detroit that no matter which water block, or air hsf i mount with, cores 0 and 4 are hotter than the others. Not the mobo either cuz I swapped that out as well
Ah okay, that might be possible. Just made the experience, that some Waterblocks do it better and some do it not.
Well how bout nozzles and the o-ring for germany? I really would like to figure this out. No shop in germany has them available yet. Any shop there sending out by postmail or anything like that?
www.over-clock.com (UK based) has them in stock and will ship to Germany...
Yeah, thanks a lot Marci! :)
Just ordered them now!
Anybody could tell me, what nozzles I really should try at the Q6600 and which are not necessary to test at all?
I have a non-restrictive Flowmeter and can compare the flow rates.
Radiator only is about 520l/h. Radiator with D-Tek is about 450l/h
Which nozzles should be more interesting to the Q6600? Only the two smallest?
Testing al nozzles takes me too much time and time is rare :D
It seems I've lost 17% (rough number did that calculation in my head) impeller speed from O-ring unsealed to O-ring sealed. Not sure what to account for this, we had a maximum speed of 3,008 RPM here and now the RPM cable is reporting at a maximum impeller speed of 2,434 RPM.
There is an added variable so I don't know how reliable these numbers are, the less liquid that reaches the impeller I get a few hundred more RPMs it seems from just pinching the Tygon. But I have added a few ml or 2cc of Ethylene Glycol since the O-ring was added, glycol which I did not have in the loop prior to adding the missing O-ring.
So adding the O-Ring bows and Flow is decreasing?
The water is more pressed through the copper fins with the added o-ring right?
